"I was fearful I would have to hire 3-4 different contractors to get my basement back in shape after it was torn apart for a french drain install. I was delighted to find a guy like Dan @ Valor to do all of the jobs. Overall was a great experience and they were a pleasure to work with. The tile and drywall repair look fantastic! The painting was a little sloppy (i.e. some paint on trim/carpet/ceiling) but I'm not particular so wasn't a big deal. Would highly recommend Valor to anyone (especially for non-painting). "We had contacted numerous companies to get an estimate for the work we wanted to get done. Only one other company made an appointment with us and then they never showed up! Tom was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or additional work we added to the job. He informed me that one of the reasons he went into business for himself was that he had issues getting people to respond to his requests for help and was astonished at how difficult it was to find true customer satisfaction. All of the worker's, Dan, Josh, Ian, Hank Mike, Drew, Patrick and Mike were extremely easy to get along with and did everything in their power to ensure we were satisfied with they work they performed. "It took a few tries to get Dean out due to running long on a prior job, once he did make it, we spent an hour making a list, taking measurements, recommending additional things that should be done. He said he'd try to get the estimate done in 48 hours. That was the last we heard so we hired another company. I don't know what the disconnect was- the office staff is lovely on the phone, Dean was very personable, seemed very capable. We just fell through the cracks of being busy i guess.show more
