They were helpful in coming up with ideas that we had not thought of before. They were helpful in coming up with ideas to save money. They were on time for every meeting which we appreciated greatly. When they promised something, they always came through. During construction activities, someone in authority was always present. Deadlines were always kept. The workmanship was excellent. They always kept us informed of what was going on throughout the project. We were extremely satisfied with the project from start to finish. We always show off our new large patio and cover to all visitors. We are looking at doing three or four more projects and will certainly use them again

We had Mexican tile on the carport removed. The initial destructive day was very organized and all the tile we didn't reuse was placed in very neat stacks. At the same time we also had refrigerated air placed by another company and they left without properly sealing pipes. Two days after our new roof and new air conditioner were placed it rained during the night...and we woke up to a terrible mess. I called Mr Hoover because I was very upset with the water in my hallway and the swollen walls. He was very polite even though it was verrrry early in the morning ...like 5:30am... He took care of the problem and called the air conditioner company which we hired . We found out it wasn't roofer fault, evidently it was a pipe the electrician didn't seal. Hoover roofing covered up my roof with a tarp because it was a very rainy day and as soon as it stopped they showed up and repaired the issue. He didn't want the refrigerated company to do it because he said "they'd put plastic goop to fix it"....I was very relieved that he took care of a problem which was created by others. He is very conscientious ..... His roofing company was clean and we didn't have problems . Mr Hoover is extremely polite ,professional and we are very happy with the quality of the work

We are extremely pleased with the results of the worked performed, but even more pleased with their professionalism, quality, and punctuality. They kept us informed and promptly responded to phone calls, e-mail, voice and text messages. We had the exterior of our home patched (we have a cement finish that looks like stucco) and painted. They were very patient and accommodating with me as I chose the exterior color. They did everything they could to help me in choosing just the right color that I liked. I think we ended up with about 24 blocks of sample colors on the walls placed in various locations to accommodate different lighting situations. They also replaced 5 columns on the back porch with custom made cement columns. They turned out fantastic! We couldn't be happier with them. We also had some wooden beams replaced which are a type of pergola design by the front entrance. They did a great job in the design and paint work on that. Robert offered a great idea to put some ledge stone on the front wall around our front entry gate. We liked the idea and love the results. Again, they were very helpful and patient as I chose just the right ledge stone. We also have 3 small porches that have roof overhangs with clay roof tiles. They brought those roofs up to par and we chose new roof tiles for them. Again they went to great lengths to help me choose the roof tiles that I would be happy with. We also had all 7 French doors repainted, installed 4 new outdoor lights, and a new doorbell. We also replaced our garage door and had our iron gates and fencing repainted. This company goes the extra mile in quality and service. We were having two different projects going on simultaneously. We were relandscaping at the same time that the exterior painting and the other work was being done. Both contractors understood and were willing to work with the other to do what was best for us. Phillips Hoover performed with extreme professionalism and honor when they came back to repaint the iron gates and fencing because the mason who did our rockwall patch repair (who was contracted by the landscaper) got mortar all over the newly painted gates and iron fencing. There are many more examples of how they go the extra mile for service and punctuality. We are even now extremely pleased that we chose Phillips Hoover to do the job

The House: a 35 year old, tri-level townhouse that had been painted twice - once when it was built, and again shortly after I bought it 10 years ago. The Need: an honest, through inspection of the exterior - from top to bottom - to identify any repairs that needed to be done, in addition to the painting. The Hunt for a "Painter": I read all the reviews on Angie's List, and looked at photographs posted on Facebook of different projected completed by Phillips Hoover. I also contacted the BBB. ALL the reports were glowing. So I made the call. Robert Phillips and I talked for 30 minutes or so and set up a date for his crew to go to the house and give it a once-over. The Inspection: Robert Phillips and his crew did a through inspection of the exterior of the house before developing the estimate. Once the estimate was ready, Mr. Phillips and I met so he could explain what needed to be done and approximately how long it would take to complete. It was a match. The Work: WOW! The crew was at the house every morning at 8, and I got an update on the work every afternoon. Since I run an agency, most of our communications were by email and/or cell, which only speaks to the level of professionalism of Mr. Phillips and his crew. I loved arriving home each day to see what had been completed. The work was completed exactly as described, and a final walk-through was done prior to wrapping-up. At that time, Mr. Phillips identified several areas that required touch ups, which his crew did before the final payment way made. The place looks brand new. And, yes, all the holiday gifts are going in the "kitty" to pay for the next project - rehabbing the inside of my house. I look forward to working with Robert Phillips and his folks again in the coming year

Ramirez Landscape & Maintenance

Mr. Danny Ramirez showed up at my house the same day after calling him to quote me on 2 different designs for my yard. We went over everything my wife and I wanted and he listened to it all. He offered suggestions and ideas for our lot. My wife noticed a really nice design from his previous completed jobs and she really loved it. Working with Danny was simple as we modified the design a bit to match our landscape. The next day we stayed in communication via angieslist messages and offered him the job. He worked with me on payments and got started the next day. Throughout the 1.5 week job, Danny and his team were courteous and friendly with my family and my property. They showed up when they said and completed the work at a good pace. I was in no rush to finish once they got started and relayed that to Mr. Ramirez. Even so, his team finished when they said they would and did an amazing job from the start. All trades were very meticulous about their specific job and paid great attention to what they were doing. I met them all and had some great conversations with his crew. Ramirez Landscape turned my front yard from pure dirt to a beautiful scene. On top of the typical rock and stone landscaping, his team planted the trees I purchased from Sierra Vista our in Anthony, NM and also wired up landscape lighting to give it that final touch. Danny in my opinion, went above and beyond in his customer service offering to pick up the plants for me free of charge despite the distance of the nursery. He also picked up my lighting as he knew my work schedule was really busy and communication during the day was very limited due to the office I work in. I cant say enough of the great job they did. I see neighbors and people driving by slowing down to look at my yard. Proud to have hired Mr. Ramirez and his crew to do my landscaping. No doubt I will call on his crew when I need my back yard finished. Thanks Ramirez Landscaping crew

BC Pro Contractors & Landscape

Having just moved back to El Paso, I bought a home that had *zero* landscaping in the backyard. Basically I had a mud pit every time it rained. I asked some of my neighbors for recommendations and the best one was about BC PRO. So I did some research about them and found that they're rated in the Top 10 Landscapers for El Paso. I called them and set an appointment for them to come and assess what I wanted. Now, I have to say that I thought I had some pretty good ideas, but after talking to Rob (the owner) he put mine to shame. The pool was finished two weeks later by another company, and work began on the landscaping. 4 days later I had the hard you see in the pictures. They installed a complete irrigation system, flagstone flower beds which they tailored to our want of a vegetable garden area, planted all of the trees you see, and enlarged the French Drain you see in the middle of the real Bermuda grass. It's absolutely beautiful, and their prices were lower than any other company we got an estimate from. Without a doubt, I can wholeheartedly recommend BC PRO Landscaping

Daniel's Tree & Landscaping Inc
5.0
I can not say enough good things about Daniel. We have primarily used "premiere" companies (150 Sunset, Nash, etc.) in the past and have been left very much unimpressed and feeling "ripped off" at times. Daniel was the complete opposite. He is very, very knowledgeable about how to address problems and very thorough and meticulous about the way he approaches projects. He communicates every step of the way and made sure he did exactly what we wanted. If he thought there was a better solution than what we thought, he would communicate that but always took our concerns into account. He was very observant and if he noticed problems with other things that he could not address he would recommend how it could be addressed by people we might hire in the future (but never "suggested" friends or who we should use unless we directly asked him for a recommendation). He never tried to "pad the bill" by recommending further or "extra" things that he could "take care of" but did point out problem areas that might need to be addressed even he could not address these himself. His prices were very clear and fair and there were never any "hidden fees" or "we worked longer than expected" BS. His crew was very professional. They limited clutter and mess and at the end of every work day they left the work area as tidy as possible (and were very careful about preventing our small dogs from getting out of the yard). Daniel was very often present at the work site and did a good job of supervising his team. There were never bottles or food wrappers or cigarette butts left laying around. When his trucks or material needed to be in the street they were clearly marked with cones and were left for only as long as needed. If you ever need any tree work (pruning, roots, etc.), landscaping, irrigation, brick or wall work done, I would HIGHLY recommend you call Daniel. I would find it difficult to be disappointed with the quality of Daniel's work. We spent approximately $10k dollars due the the extent of the work involved and felt very satisfied that we go our money's worth (maybe even more due to him pointing out some other things that we needed to have addressed by other contractors)

Bedrock Landscaping & Concrete
5.0
Started with a detailed discussion about what we wanted the yard to look like and Jacob Astorga, Owner of Bedrock, made a few suggestions. We agreed upon what was to be accomplished, a contract was written, about a 40% deposit was made and the work started and continued starting at 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday until completed. Work included clearing all the current landscaping and removing several bushes, all of which was hauled away upon removal. Jacob offered sample materials for us to select the colors desired for all areas of the work to be performed, selections were made and, as needed, materials were brought on site for the work to be able to proceed smoothly. The work performed: · The yard was cleared and leveled. All materials and all bushes that were removed were hauled away. · The yard was leveled and shaped for the work to be performed. Most of this effort being done by or supervised by Javier, the concrete and brickwork master. · Frameworks for the brick work and sidewalk concrete work were built. Low energy lights were added to each step for the walkway to the house. Materials for the next phase were delivered. · Dividers, consisting of grey block and mortar mix, were built at the sidewalk on both sides of the driveway and the walkway to the house, across the middle of the yard, in several curves, to include around a planter and again on both sides of the driveway. Next dividers were built around all established trees in large circles about eighteen inches from the trunks. Finally a divider was built across the upper part of the yard where planters would be established. · After the dividers were built across the middle part of the yard and waiting until the next workday to allow the concrete to cure, the dirt was re-arranged to flow to the divider from higher in the yard. · Water lines were placed to connect to existing lines for existing trees and bushes and established for new bushes. Pipe was placed for low energy light cables and posts were placed for the fixtures within the area to be concreted. · Brick in large rectangular boxes between the sidewalk and street were broken up and cleared. Old bushes and weeds in six diamond shaped areas were also cleared and prepared for concrete. · Concrete was delivered, poured, spread, leveled and stamped. The concrete was colored brick red and the stamping added a blue highlight. Concrete and stamping areas included the lower portion of the yard in all three areas, the sidewalk with two steps to the house and the large boxes between the sidewalk and street. Last the six smaller diamond shaped areas between the sidewalk and street were covered with the red concrete. All was left to cure overnight. · Bedrock facings were concreted to all the dividers and a bullnose brick topping was added to all the dividers. The divider lowest in the yard had bedrock attached to the street side and home side while all other dividers had only the one exposed side covered in facings. · After frameworks were removed, bricks were laid on both sides of the sidewalk, street to house, and both sides of the driveway. · Low energy lights were placed where desired, linked via the low energy cables and connected to low energy transformers. Upper part of the yard was covered with a thick black plastic sheeting material in preparation for the delivery of the shad to cover those areas. · Shad was delivered, placed in the street in front of the house and was quickly moved to the three areas to be covered by shad and after placement was leveled. · During the work the areas were continually being kept free of debris and at this point a final sweeping of the stamped concrete was accomplished, a high pressure steam cleaner was brought in to clean the stamped concrete and brick work and a final coating of a concrete sealer was added. · All materials were cleared from the side driveway which had been used as a staging area and the project was complete. The end result is better than expected, both my spouse and I are elated with the final results. Prior to the work being performed, estimates were obtained from several companies and each had a different perspective as to how they would prepare and present our yard. We selected Bedrock because of the quality of the previous work performed and the promise of a final appearance. We are delighted with the results

"My second encounter with Innovative Trades and again I was very pleased with the work they performed and their professionalism. This was also a home warranty company subsidized job, but in this case I needed to bare the majority of the cost. Innovative Trades showed clear commitment to getting the job done well and right. Rudy (co-owner) advised me and demonstrated to me the errors the builders had made in the initial install and where the leak was occurng. When the estimate was provided, the owners committed to no overages and that any extra time they would absorb. This was extremely helpful as I just had to replace a water heater a few days before. This particular repair was difficult because the team had to break my tile, remove shelves and drill into the concrete in my pantry area to access the waterlines and repair the leak. The leak was successfully fixed and Innovative Trades was nice enough to re-install the 2 broken tiles, re-install my pantry cabinets, installed replacement floorboards and also repaired the small cutouts in the sheetrock where they needed to access to work on the leak. Again, these items were done as a courtesy and I appreciate that as most providers will just leave these types of "collateral damage" repairs to the customer to figure out or charge you more to do them. They also left the place clear of any trash or parts packaging. I appreciate their work so much, I have already asked them to quote some bathroom upgrades!!!!

"I quite literally had zero issues with this company. I had a very small concrete job I wanted done and nobody else would take the job at a reasonable price. I saw some other reviews on here of people complaining about blah, blah, blah and whatever but, for me, super awesome experience. Daniel and Christina are really cool people, very personable and just a pleasure to talk with. I have several other projects planned in the future and will most definitely be reaching back out to them. I would also recommend their company to anyone looking to have quality work done at a more than reasonable price. Thanks Daniel and Christina!! You've definitely earned a repeat customer!

"Mr. Ruben Astorga came to my house on time for a quote to install a sprinkler system for my lawn. He and his crew worked and had system installed in two days. He and I talked about the type of sprinkler heads to install and I was very satisfied with the intended plan. He showed me the controlled panel and how to program it for my times and watering days. Today I manually did the zones. Tommorrow will be the first day for the programming to start working. All though he showed me how to adjust the sprinkler coverage patterns, I believe I will have to adjusts the sprays distances on some of the heads to keep them from spraying my parked cars, lol. I find the coverages to be terrific overall. I would recommend this company to anyone needing this type of service. The cost was within my expectations.
