First is to say that Ernie s Plumbing and the people they employ are the best & most efficient I have witnessed in a very long time and secondly is to especially thank Josh & his helper Robert, and the tunnel teams that came out to repair our extensive plumbing problems. The office would call each morning at 7:30 to in form us that Josh was on his way. All of the crews that came out were exceptionally prompt, courteous, informative and very hard working. I had a severe plumbing problem at my 58 year old home. Josh and Robert first ran a plumbing snake down the pipe and retrieved a large clump of roots. Next they sent a camera down to see what problems existed, and as it turned out there were many. The only real fix was to completely replumb the entire house. The total job took 8 days to complete and I am very pleased with the work. Josh & Robert worked every day all day without a break except for lunch and the tunnel teams did the same. They had to dig a 60' trench 4' deep and 1' wide, a 4'x4'x4' hole to get under the house and an 8'x10' tunnel 4'x4' wide and a large hole to dig under my rear patio to run the sewer line. This was very hard work and they never slowed down. The weather was cold, wet, and 3 days below freezing in the mornings. These men were 5 star workers. Thanks for all of your hard work
- Ernie's Plumbing Service IncThey were fabulous. My plumber was punctual, extremely courteous, thorough and the best part -- HE CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. He provided me with invaluable knowledge about my drain plugs, the location of my sewage cleanout, and information regarding the age, and shape of my pipelines. He also gave me information about how my pipe compares to newer homes. Since my house is over 40 years old, he provided me with an idea of possible problems that could arise and estimates for those services, while also assuring me there are no current major issues with my house. When he left, I had knowledge, peace of mind -- and showers, sinks, and toilets that were running like new. The price for plumbing is never cheap. That being said, I've used other, very reputable, plumbers in my area. I would say Ernie's is equally reputable, equally knowledgeable, and more cost effective. Scheduling an appointment was easy, they called to confirm I was home before they sent the plumber out (probably because I am a considerable distance from the heart of the metroplex), and they called about an hour after their technician left to confirm that my experience was as expected. I would absolutely use them again

They called 30 minutes before arriving to let us know they were on the way. They arrived at 3:40 pm (within the 30 minutes). The gentleman who arrived did not have the right equipment to clear the line, so Donald was called out. He arrived within 30 minutes and had the line cleared in no time! Donald was very professional, friendly, and took the time to explain how our lines are laid out under the house (i.e., where the main lines are connected to the branches, etc.). - Ernie's Plumbing Service IncRecently I used Ernie?s Plumbing (EP) to determine a possible sewage leak under the slab of my home consisting of a ?static test? and camera inspection of the entire sewer line. I found EP to be very courteous, professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I also found them to be a little pricey for my budget. I understand they are very good at what they do and word-of-mouth confirmed their elite status. However, it pays to shop around. I was able to secure another professional who was able to match EP?s repair bid and also include additional work (what EP proposed would be an additional cost) saving me around $6,000 big ones! I also found communication with EP to be a concern. They never once called to follow up with me to see if I was still interested. Also, my insurance agent had difficulty with EP not returning calls. It was only after I ?conferenced in? both parties on my phone were we able to obtain the necessary information. I will use Ernie?s Plumbing again in the future and I recommend you do the same; just don?t forget to shop around

When you get plumbing assistance, you definitely want to get a good company on the job, and that's what I think I got today from Ernie's Plumbing. Neal was a little late due to a prior call taking more time than had originally been anticipated, so that's the reason I gave a B on Punctuality- but the office staff kept me updated, and had let me know a full hour before the end of my time slot that he was going to be here about 2.5 hours after that call, give or take... and he was. My situation was a little tricky, I have a 150' sewer line from the house to the city main, and prior to calling I had already isolated that the obstruction was in the back 75', because there was a damaged cleanout that even the previous owner didn't know about. Neal tried to get his machine through, but it just wouldn't go. There's likely a worse problem going on here than I want to deal with right now, so he came up with a crafty way to get through it without his machine. All in all he was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and effective. Happy I chose Ernie's today, and will probably in the future when I'm ready to deal with the bigger problem at hand... but for now, I'm just thankful to have functional indoor plumbing again! He was very professional with his assessment of our overall gas line structure and cleaned up the work areas before he left. He completed the work ahead of schedule even though we had unknown booby traps in the attic in the form of unsafe boards to walk on. We felt like the charges for the "Unknown Work Needed" were fair. "All three toilets in my house became backed up at 5pm on a Friday. Roto Rooter was the only plumber who could come out. The plumber who came out did clear the line through the ground level clean-out. I was charged double what I had previously paid another plumber for the same service. Then he veered into the purely creepy by texting me, while sitting on my sofa staring me in the face, that he had something to tell me about my drains but I needed to call him after my housekeeper left for him to tell me. He continued to refuse to discuss it despite my saying it didn't matter that my housekeeper was there. He then told me that he wanted to send someone out with a camera to better inspect the line. He said someone would be out at 9am Saturday morning, and that I didn't need to be home. I never heard anything more until more than a week later, when I got a call from "Roto Rooter Dispatch" wanting to schedule the inspection that was supposed to have already happened. So we scheduled it between 1 and 4 today. Since I was told that I did indeed need to be home, I canceled an appointment and stayed home all afternoon. No one ever showed up, nor did anyone call. I appreciate that someone could get my toilets functioning on a late Friday afternoon. Beyond that these people are a total disaster and should be avoided.
