- Dallas Home ImprovementI initially hired Dallas Home Improvement to clean 2 drapery panels and my rugs after my dogs had accidents. Mike was on time and did a great job. While he was cleaning the drapes, he saw how dirty my windows were and gave me a very reasonable quote to clean them. He took the rugs with him when he finished the drapes. Another accident and I had them come out again to clean and booked the window cleaning. When Mike was steam cleaning the drapes he noticed the rug pad (that was underneath the rugs being cleaned) smelled and suggested that he steam clean the rug pad when he came back to do the windows. Today Mike came back to clean the windows, steam clean the rug pad and return the cleaned rugs. Everything is fresh and clean!! I will definitely be hiring Dallas Home Improvement to clean my windows again in the spring and whenever I need drapery or rug cleaning

They gave me a 10% discount which about covered the overrun from the original estimate by phone but they did tell me about the cost difference prior to the work when they saw how large the drapes were. The tie backs were also cleaned. They took photos of the shirring to get them back correctly to the same look in the draping and succeeded. I purchased my drapery and some rods and brackets overseas to save cost, and the products I received is not the regular one you will see in the USA market: super heavy drapes, and imported brackets & rods with no instruction. When I called Dallas Drapery Installers, I was able to make appointment for the same day. Omid came on time and start the work right away. I have lots of windows to cover, so we decide to split the workload in two days. Omid was able to install the irregular rods and brackets with no problem, and he also make different suggestions according to my personal preference on the drapery positioning. The price is absolutely reasonable and Omid's skills are just perfect. In the process, Omid was also friendly enough to taught me few useful things regarding drapery installation and maintenance. Definitely will hire again and 5/5 star recommendation
- TLC CARPET CLEANING, INC.TLC responded to my on-line inquiry within minutes. Paul (the manager) asked detailed questions regarding my drapery issues and then asked me to email him pictures so he could give me a fair price. While this was somewhat of an inconvenience I would rather there not be any surprises i.e. additional charges when the work is completed. In fact, TLC quoted me a higher price than another cleaner but given the fact that the other cleaner did not ask for such specifics and pictures I felt TLC was going to handle this job more professionally. Mike came out two days later and spent 2+ hours dry cleaning my drapes. He was friendly, professional and clean. I felt comfortable with him in my home. My drapes are now clean and fresh smelling. I would absolutely call TLC again

"Staff was very professional and polite. No complaints as far as interactions with them. However, the services were a bit lackluster. One bedroom had a couple of faint, small (quarter size) stains, and those remained unchanged. The main bedroom with the most traffic didn’t really look much different. No attempt was made to rejuvenate the carpet. I was able to take a cloth (after they “cleaned” it) and made more of a difference than they did. I guess I just expect a carpet cleaning service to make a little bit more of an effort than a quick single swipe over each area. Also, the main room had that usual heavy traffic smell...shoes and feet and a (clean) dog. That was better for about 3 days and started coming back, which tells me the cleaning was very topical, not deep cleaned. I guess I should have known that by how quickly he finished. Overall, I don’t really feel like the $140 I spent was worth it.
