    Rickie Evans did a fantastic job repairing my hot tub. I found him to be very professional and prompt in coming out and kept great communications by text messaging for the several days that he worked on the hot tub. He also videoed and sent to me the problems before and after so I knew that the job was actually done and he wasn't making up stuff to repair. My hot tub had not been used in years so there was a lot that was wrong with it (two major cracked manifolds, a broken light, missing primary re-circulation jet, one burned out broken motor and bad heating coil). He replaced them all for a very reasonable price. I will be using Rickie again without a doubt next time my hot tub needs servicing. Thank you

    We put a deposit down on a pool in September 2021 . Tom told us we would be the first install in 2022 . His communication was great - until we gave him our money . Since then there has been a sign on his store door that they are closed due to medical reasons . He doesn't answer the phone / respond to messages and then uses medical as his excuse . On November 30th Tom told us he had our pool . He even asked if we could store it at our home for the winter . We said no so he told us he would store it at his store . March 2022 - we started asking Tom for a project start date . His response was "they want to ship soon" . Per his previous conversation - he already had our pool . We asked over and over again why he lied and he continues to dance around the question . He is very vague and continues to not answer the questions being asked . I truly hope I'm wrong about Tom and his company . From the looks of it - I don't think he ever ordered our pool meanwhile we have 4 kids who are going to be bummed . If Tom does come through - I will come back and change this review . Until then it looks like my attorney will be getting involved and we will be requesting a full refund . Update - 4.15.2022 - I asked Tom to send me over a copy of the service order . He sent me a picture of the quote he received through his supplier which is local . I contacted the supplier - his rep for his account confirmed that Tom never ordered our pool

    On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give Mr. Pools a 10. He was very timely (actually ahead of projected start date),his crew was very fast and efficient once the project got started he charged a vety fair price,and most importantly the quality of the pool is amazing. The owner Bob was very easy to work with and was accommodating to our needs. I would definitely recommend him and his crew for any pool needs you may have. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. We will be using him to open and close our pools as well

    Cost more to fix than it was worth. The tech went over and above to help but it wasn't worth the cost. It was a circuit board problem.

    This is a tricky review, on one hand everything this company sells (and all pool and spa companies) is heinously overpriced but I've learned you have to consider that that added price that you pay versus buying from say Amazon, get you access to actual professionals who can help you. Let's face it, unless you have a chemistry degree, a background in plumbing, an actual command of commercial electrical work, you cannot do this on your own. Sure you might be able to piecemeal together all the contractors and by one of these things from one of those companies that sells them online at suspiciously low prices but all you're buying is Chinese sprayed fiberglass junk. Trust me, it so happens that I know the owner of the largest company who sells that garbage. He once told me that if a product (hot tub) shows up off the container with damage they just throw the dumpster. That's how cheap they are, the company is able to literally discard them. Ohio pool and spa to the best of my knowledge, only sells Hot Springs. When I was there looking at various spies the factory rep happened to be there who has an encyclopedic knowledge of their product line. What truly sold me was a hot tub built in 1997! That's right, I was in their showroom in 2019 and they showed me a hot Springs tub that they got from a customer from 1997 and is still running. That is simply amazing. Now imagine all the technology that has been added to these in 22 years... Moto massagers, spinning jets, LED lights, more waterfalls than you need, audio options, kind of endless. So here's the deal, I was contemplating purchasing one of these from one of their competitors when the security manager of my building overheard me talking to somebody and asked if he could make a suggestion. Naturally I welcome anyone's input when making a large purchase and he told me about the wonderful experience that he had and continues to have by doing business with Ohio pools and spa. I walked into my office and called them, they happen to have a sale going on (I suspect they always happen to have a sale going on) and as soon as I got there the spa that I first saw happen to be the one that I ended up purchasing. Why was my experience so good that I would take the time to write a review for this company? Was my experience flawless? Not all… I had all kinds of issues. Broken jets, faulty motor, LEDs that needed replaced. The reason I'm leaving this review is because there was no bickering or "negotiating" these folks have customer service that would shame Amazon in the early days (remember when they were good). They got me up and running, never charge me a penny for at least four visits to adjust this or that.. They upgraded items where I paid for the part they provide the service free. You really just can't get better customer service than these guys and that's what sets them apart. Yes their product in my opinion is superior to the competitors. I saw a negative review here that talked about customer service being slow to get back to, hang up the phone call back. It's really easy, it zero and get a live person on the phone… They walk your call back to the right person. Problem solved. I could keep going but I hope by now my point has been made. Give Ohio Pool & Spa a call, you will be glad that you did
