My technicians were both extremely good at their jobs. They were very knowledgeable and helpful, giving me tips and recommendations. They added backer plates on 3 light fixtures and switched out 2 outlets in my garage. I will definitely have Home Town Electrical Doctor here again for more work that I need in the future.

So far, they’ve completed a service upgrade from 100 to 200 amps, trenched new power lines, and rewired my garage, including installing a dedicated EV charger. I haven’t had any problems so far, and I’ll be updating this review once the full rewire is complete, including the removal of old knob and tube wiring throughout the house. The work went as expected

I've had Matt and his staff do work in my Crocker Park home a couple of times. Each time, for estimate visits, project work or a checkup, they're on time, very pleasant and polite, and do neat, efficient work. And the tools he uses for scheduling give great notice (in advance and day of), work order creation and invoicing are all done on the technician's phone. Efficient and effective.

Excellent installation and great help in programming remotes for the ceiling fans.

I met with a half a dozen electricians about the knob and tube wiring in my newly purchased house. Chris and his team at Hometown were by far the best. They were extremely thorough on their walk through and their inspection really helped me narrow down the scope of work. When it came down to the work itself, they did an exceptional job at fishing wire behind our lath and plaster walls. I only had a few small spots to patch (no huge trenches or huge holes in the walls or ceiling!). Chris and Matt were great at troubleshooting unexpected issues and really went the extra mile. I got several quotes and proposals for the rewiring, and Hometown's quote was by far the best and there was no change in the cost when the final bill arrived. I also really appreciate their financing which allows me to pay over 18 months with no interest. I highly recommend going with Hometown.

I have used Hometown Electric for several years now. They have performed various electric work for me: replacing light fixtures, installing outlets, install microwave, install dryer duct, etc. Chris is always very professional, prompt, knowledgeable and very pleasant. It went very smoothly. Matt was extremely knowledgeable. He explained exactly what he would do and always asked if we had any questions. He worked the entire time he was here and then cleaned up before he left. I would hire them again in a minute!

Chris and his apprentice were extremely timely, responsive, punctual and professional. Chris has done work for me previously and is always straightforward, honest and a delight to work with. I will continue to use them for all my electrical needs. Besides replacing the panel, they installed a new ceiling fan in our bedroom and a new light fixture.

These guys were awesome! Chris and Bryon were a great team. They were pleasant and easy to work with, but kept things moving and really know their stuff. I couldn't believe how smoothly everything went! I was very lucky that all three rooms already had fan boxes in the ceilings, all my bulbs were already dimmable, and all the switches I bought or already had worked perfectly with everything they did. That said, I was still amazed that they had all of this done and immaculately cleaned up in 4 hours flat! I couldn't believe how quickly they put that new outlet in! I honestly don't know how fair their pricing was, because I have nothing to compare it to. When they first came for their free estimate, Chris offered options that would save me money, like buying my own switches. I opted for that, and he was really helpful in making sure I had all the info I needed to buy the right things. I also love that this company is locally owned, and I believe a 4-man operation. I love that! Their technology surprised me, knowing how small they are. I got timely confirmations and they were just really easy to work with. No question, when I need electrical work done I will call them again!

I particularly liked that the technician who ultimately did the work was the one who came out, scoped the project, and provided an estimate. That allowed us to discuss the details and explore options before the work was actually done. It also gave me an opportunity to meet the technician who was going to do the work. Matt was on time, thorough, gave me a chance to view the progress of the project, and completed it within the time frame expected.

Appointment for estimate was easy to schedule, regular updates were provided for estimated time of appointment. Project was reviewed and estimate was provided within a few days. Estimate was a little higher than one other, but organization and professionalism seemed worth the additional cost. Project went well. Again, regular updates were provided for the estimated arrival time and project completion. One or two items needed clarification during install, but nothing to complain about. Technicians were on time, professional and friendly.

Great. New light fixtures look beautiful. The electrician found a problem hanging one and rescheduled to get the needed ceiling parts. Very professional.

Chris has been here to do numerous projects from a outside deck rewire/repair, new GFI for new deck install. He inspects and makes sure all the old wiring he is replacing is to code and if not he brings it to your attention with a solution for resolution. We have Chris back time and again to make improvements on our home.

I have used them before and they have been excellent. I would highly recommend them.
