  The Riverside estimator Gerardo came on time and spent time and gave us a break down for the various tasks. He carefully showed us exactly what he saw and was suggesting so we would understand the scope and cost for each task. he saw things that other firms had missed... As work was progressing we added a few things and a few things turned out to be less complicated than expected -- All in all we felt that we were treated very fairly with regard to the estimates and contract and total cost. No surprises. Juan aka the Master/maestro of Stucco showed up on day one and came back with apprentices/assistants every few days as different areas needed to be worked on or the next step in the process was to be completed. Nestor led various workers and teams and he had the right people here every day. And they all worked very well together. They cleaned up every day before they left. They were neat and pleasant. they had all the necessary tools and equipment and enough workers at all times. When it rained they rearranged tasks and worked inside. Everything was done in one week. Important. Three hours after we paid and thanked everyone we found an area that needed to be touched up .. We could have fixed it but we had no paint... so I called Gerardo at 6PM and two of the painters returned the next morning and fixed both areas and left the remaining paint. I just found an area under my deck that was supposed to be painted, but I have no doubt they will return next week and paint that areashow more

  Gerardo came out to provide a quote and informed me of things needed to be done and others that weren't necessary. The painters were efficient and got the job done to my satisfaction. Santiago runs a great work crew. The carpentry work was excellent. Especially the stairway and roof over our deck. My vision was minimal compared to the work performed. Both the roof structure and stairway are wonderful. Gerardo let me know that they weren't finished until I was completely happy with the job. It ended up being much more than I expected. Overall, I am very pleased and would use them again. In fact, they will be painting the deck and stairs in the spring. Thanks Riversideshow more

  Simply perfect job. We have a big 1920's house that needed painting and new/replacement gutters. Also a 10 year old stucco installation needed remediation and sealing to fix a water intrusion problem. This part of the job was very large, detailed and time-consuming. I initially looked at separate contractors to do each aspect. I got three bids from other Angies List contractors for each portion. After talking to Ruben Rivera from Riverside, I knew that they were the painters to use... however, they were able to do the stucco work as well. I had them do a small $200 "test job" on a small area of the stucco and their work was perfect. Their total price was equal to the best prices I got. Hired them and they finished the punch list items yesterday. Very professional crew. Very expert work. No accidents. Job was done exactly as I wanted. They did extra work with no extra charges. I plan to use them for the interior painting soon. You will not be disappointed in Riverside Painting for painting, gutter work, and stucco workshow more

  As soon as I called, Joe called me back right away and came by the same day for an estimate. The price way very fair and the estimate was thorough. They started the job the next day and finished within a couple of days. They kept me advised on everything. When they found wood rot in a couple of places they fixed it and even took digital photos of their work (since I was not at home that day) and charged me very little for the additional work. These guys are very professional and treat the customer with respect. Jorge was an excellent foreman on the job. By the way, they only did the work that was needed and did not try to up sell me on work that was not appropriate. I will use them againshow more

  We hired Superior Pro to perform stucco repair, caulking , and window trim replacement. While the work was eventually completed in a semi-satisfactory manner, the experience was an adventure no homeowner should experience. Let's start at the front end. Sales: Two words of advice: BUYER BEWARE! Our sales rep provided a quote for gutter and fascia board replacement. There was a minimum charge of $2000. We asked for fascia board painting and that was another $2000 because painting is done by a separate team. How about PVC instead of pressure treated pine for the fascia board? Sorry they don't make PVC fascia board. That is false! It's readily available at Home Depot and Lowes. We ended up going to a gutter company and getting exactly what we wanted for less than $2000. We asked about repairing a couple woodpecker holes and that was a reasonable $90 but the sales manager insisted that the sales rep push us towards skim coating for an additional $1500. He claimed it would not look right if skimcoating was not applied and of course they could not warranty the work, I asked if they would warrant against future woodpecker holes. Obviously not. There is nothing wrong with the $90 repairs. Production: One word: FRUSTRATING! Like many home improvement companies Superior Pro uses sub-contractors (1099 employees) instead of inhouse W-2 employees. That's not necessarily bad if the sub-contractors are managed effectively. In our case it looked like Superior Pro has a very informal relationshiip with the sub-contractors who showed up for work at their convenience if they even showed up at all. On day 1 when the contractors were late I called the project co-ordinator, project manager and sales rep and eventually learned that the same sub-contractor who committed on Friday to perform the work on Monday had a change of heart and wouldn't be showing up. Day 2 didn't go much better when the two men who did show left early without telling me then told the project co-ordinator that I told them to go home which is an outright lie! Wait it doesn't end there. The same crew showed up without proper materials and spent most of the day touring every Home Depot in Gwinnett County searching for the right PVC window trim. The same situation occurred later when looking for a stucco color-match material. Eventually an adult with journeyman-level qualifications showed up and completed the work in two days albeit with the color-matching delay sandwiched in between. Bottom Line: Superior Pro is neither. With a few google searches a homeowner can easily find a better company for stucco repairs or gutter workshow more
