Upon his arrival he and his partner got right to work, cleaning and making an analysis of what my fireplace needed to be in great working order. Unfortunately there was a small problem with the fireplace as it would not start immediately as it should. It took several attempts to make it start and Waylon explained the problem thoroughly. Waylon stated the old firebox would still work. I just had to make several attempts to start it. Solution: A new firebox is being ordered to make starting the fireplace easy. "When i sent the request I did so because I kept hearing something in my chimney. When they arrIived I was not home, but they had already completed the inspection upon my arrival. I was told there was nothing in the chimney, but there was a hole that would need to be repaired that would run about $4200, and they could cap it for about $375, if I wanted. I said i would get back to them, but i continued to hear something in the chimney so I called someone else to check it out for me. There was a full blown birds nest with eggs. So I will be calling someone to remove that after the eggs have hatched.
