Adams: The typical cost for recessed can installation is $125 per light.
Kohring: They run about $125 to $150 per light, but we try to price by time and materials.
Clar: A standard recessed can installation is about $115 for each light.

Adams: The person should be licensed. Beyond that, look at past jobs and what warranties they provide.
Kohring: Licensing and reputation are important, but the most important thing to me is showing up to do the work.
