First thing Tuesday morning, I called Jiffy Plumbing because my shower faucet broke and would not turn off. They said they would send someone that morning and that the person would call in advance. By afternoon, no one had rung or called so I called them. Plumber #1 rang me back and showed up shortly after. However, he could not fix the faucet because he needed a part. I was informed that he (or another plumber) would be back the next day to finish the repairs. The next day (Wednesday), I again received no communications so I rang Jiffy in the afternoon to inquire. Eventually, Plumber #2 and his compatriot showed up. They "fixed" the faucet. I paid them. After they left, I noticed that the faucet was very "jiggly". Apparently, the screw was stripped. It was neither replaced nor was I informed. So...I rang Jiffy again. Thursday, went like the previous days in terms of communication (none). After calling again, they sent Plumber #3 who took a look, conferred with the office, and cited the screw as the issue. BUT, he refused to fix it and indicated that the plumber who caused the issue would need to come back to fix it. I again called Jiffy. They said Plumber #2 would reach back out to me later that day (Thursday). I called Friday morning. It is Saturday and no has yet to call me. Making me wait at home all day for FOUR days in a row without the common courtesy of calling as promised and/or keeping me abreast of progress (even if none) is just frustrating. I will not use them again.
