We do not have spare bathroom tiles so it was paramount for our regrouping job that the utmost care be taken to remove any loose tiles without breaking so they could be glued back. But Alberto was more than up to the challenge, removing the first loose tile with ease and from there it was cake. He glued the tiles in with liquid nails since the house manufacturer didn't install a backing below the tile so they had to be glued directly onto the original plywood floorboard.

Ideal Tile Kitchen & Bath Design Center
The experience, as described above in the services performed section, was very pleasant. At each visit to Ideal Tile, the service was prompt and very courteous. Mo and Linda were patient with us as we struggled to pick out the appropriate tile. They provided assistance in choosing the proper tile and in designing the best layout for it. The tile delivery time in each case was reasonable and prompt and the tile price in each case seemed very reasonable. We were especially grateful that we were able to trade one backplash tile for another without a problem. We would have no hesitation about making future purchases from Ideal Tile.

Barry Levine came to our home with a good selection of tile samples. He didn't pressure us to purchase the most expensive tile. He was very concerned that the tile blended with our furnishings. We had priced tile at two stores before we called Empire Today. The price for this tile was comparable to the showroom stores, maybe slightly less. Barry promised that the installation would only take 1.5 days and it did. The tile is beautiful and they installed new wood trim, stained in the color of the tile, all around the room without charge. It required only a $100 deposit and gave us 12 months to pay interest free. Quite a deal!

We were shopping for ceramic tile for our new bathroom floor and shower stall. We walked into circa TILE without a firm idea of what we wanted, and were greeted at the door by David Ford, a professional with 30 years experience in the tile industry. He quickly found a sandy-looking 12 x 12 floor tile that was exactly what we wanted, for the price we wanted -- about $2 per tile. He recommended using the same tile in the shower for an overall cost saving. Then he listened while my daughter and I argued over the border tile -- she wanted blue and green glass tile and I wanted ceramic color-coordinated with the sandy tile. He came up with a beautiful tile pattern that had both! and also matched the blue-green paint color we had picked for the walls. He then efficiently turned our contractor's shopping list into a tile order, and had it all within 3 days -- sooner than promised. It turned out he ordered exactly the right amount of tile for the job, with just a few pieces left over.

The service couldn't have gone any better! I purchased an Angie's List Deal for $319 for 6 1/2 hours of handyman service. I needed to have 12 ceramic tiles replaced after the installation of a new sump pump. The ceramic tiles had been jack-hammered out and the floor dug up for the sump pump installation. I provided the matching ceramic tiles, quick-set mortar, sand-colored grout and spacers. Per my request they scheduled my appointment within days. The gentleman showed up on time and began the work immediately. He did a fabulous job of cutting the tiles. Four of the tiles had to be cut in a circular shape and the rest of the tiles also had to be cut to fit into the area. The grout was installed smooth, even and looked great. Everything was perfectly cleaned up and I was told that things could be returned to their place in 24 hours. This job was performed in approximately 4 hours so I looked for a couple more small things to do with my handyman service deal. I would highly recommend this company for ceramic tile repair and/or installation.

Our general contractor recommended Circa Tile for a basement bathroom renovation after we were disappointed with the pickings at Home Depot and Lowe's. We were overwhelmed by the number of products available at Circa Tile, but one of the associates talked to us about our needs and how we wanted things to look and helped us to pick out tile that met our design goals. The tile arrived on time and in good condition. Three tiles of the incorrect color had been placed in a box by the vendor; Circa Tile rectified the problem immediately.

FBT Tile & Marble Inc
FBT Tile was fantastic to work with! They were punctual, polite, professional, tidy and conscientious. Frank and his crew did an outstanding job on the tile in our powder room as well as the tile in our kitchen (floor and glass backsplash) for a reasonable price. The glass we chose for our backsplash was very difficult to work with and FBT Tile installed it perfectly. Everyone who has seen the tile in our kitchen has been truly amazed. We are STILL in awe! We were particularly grateful for Frank’s creativity and his advice on how to best lay out our tile. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the work. We will definitely use FBT Tile when we are ready to remodel our other bathrooms. One of the best contractor experiences we have had to date!

The Tile Center workers were great and produced outstanding results! Tushar, our rep, was extremely responsive. I will use the Tile Center in the future and urge others to do the same. My daughter and son-in-law also had a great experience with Tile Center redoing her hallway bathroom in their house.

They have nice tile. The tile that I bought was perfect. They have a very nice show room with many, many tiles on the floor. The staff was very, very helpful. The overall experience was excellent. I would use this company again.

POTOMAC TILE & CARPET
They were very good. They were very helpful in figuring out tile to set the tile in the shower decorating and the border tile and that was something we hadn't thought about. The fact was that the salesman was helpful. The quality was very good. They were very responsive and very professional.

Two Brothers Handyman and Home Improvement Service, LLC
It was a great experience. Reuben came by for an estimate 2 days after I called, and then the work was done the following week. The subfloor was in horrible shape, I'd had to abandon my DIY tiling project after I couldn't stabilize and level it. He took the trouble to take out the subfloor and resolve the root problem -- a joist that wasn't level -- rather than just tile over it. It cost more to fix it the right way, but I'm so glad I agreed to it. The tile job is simply beautiful, and I know those tiles won't crack again.

Removal of tile went extremely well considering the weight and amount of adhesive and thin set that had to be removed. Tile installation went well but was delayed for a week or so waiting for supplier to send replacement tile that was damaged in the initial shipment.

S & S Ceramic Tile
We hired S & S Tile to redo the floor in our full bathroom upstairs. He removed the old tile, installed new tile, and grouted. He was able to tile under the radiator and did not damage the tile on the walls, which was nice. It looks great. We were able to still use the shower during the whole process, which was key, since we only have one full bathroom. I would definitely hire him again for another tiling projection. He was responsive, professionalism, and does great work.

Tim Whiteman came over to look at the job I was impressed immediately by his knowledge and professionalism. He made several recommendations regarding tile type and size and explained the reasoning behind his recommendations. He also referred us to a tile dealer that he has a good relationship with and was able to get us an excellent discount on the tile we wanted. His quote was extremely competitive and we decided that he was definitely the one we wanted doing the job. When the tile came in, he went to the tile dealer and checked the order, bringing it with him when he was ready to start the job - - we simply paid for the tile with a phone call and a credit card. Tim made it all very easy. Tim worked with us to arrange an installation period that was convenient for us. Once the job started, Tim and his helper worked hard until it was finished. The old adhesive from the tiles they removed ended up being harder to remove than they expected, but they got it all off. They were also able to remove and replace the old shoe moldings without damaging them, which meant that we didn't have to repaint the baseboards. The tile installation itself went smoothly and the floor is absolutely beautiful. My husband and I agree that Tim Whiteman is now our go-to guy for tile.

J Dom Inc
This company really understands how to put down a tile floor, tile backsplash. Every day they worked constantly---taking only a short lunch break. Everything still looks brand new, even though it was completed in 2009. Not a crack in any of the tiles on the floor. They are meticulous, professional and personable craftsmen who understand what is required to do tile work that will last for years.

Moe did a great job fixing the floor tiles and wall tiles in the kitchen. He is very detail-oriented and co-operative. When I found out we forgot about the decorative piece when the tiles were done, he was willing to re-do several tiles to meet our needs. Will hire him for future bathroom remodeling.

Collins Tile & Stone
Worked with the company's designer, Tracy, to choose new tile for the shower floor. She was a great help to find replacements for out-of-production wall tiles and to choose new floor tiles and grout. Over three days the company removed the old materials, installed a custom pan, step, all tile work, and drain. The team was very professional and the tile work looked much better than the original shower. At the completion of the tile work, the glass subcontractor measured for a frameless glass enclosure and worked with us on the design details. The glass was ready after about two weeks and a new team came to install it. Installation was completed in a couple of hours. The final product looks great and has exceeded our expectations. The owner of Collins Tile & Stone made several visits to the work site to ensure that everything was going well and that we were satisfied with the work. I would use Collins Tile & Stone for future projects and would highly recommend them to others.

B & B Floor Co
They gave me very good advice on what to use in terms of carpet and tiling. Did an excellent job of laying carpet and tile--the latter requiring a lot of work to level the basement floor and provide a professional finish. The tile took a little longer to get in stock than they anticipated, but they re-arranged their schedule to get everything before I had to leave town for a week. They got the new carpet and tiling laid in just one day--really impressive.
