I then refined and mastered my trade all over the country while working in power plants, refineries and on pipelines. In fact, our specialty is fire mitigation, especially in places like cabin homes that reside in heavily forested areas. A fire-mitigation job can range from simple to complex: we might just collect debris (i.e., fuels) from the ground and haul them off or stack to burn in the winter or we may have large numbers of trees to cut and remove in addition to installation of fire-mitigation irrigation systems. We have experience working in many cities in Wyoming, including Jackson, Laramie, Casper, and Cheyenne, but we will also work in neighboring states.

While most homeowners aren't required to tell their neighbors that they’re putting up a fence, it's certainly a good idea to do so. Not only is it considerate to give neighbors a heads up about construction noise, but building a fence may limit your neighbors' access to their own backyards while building is taking place. 

Typically, you need one to two coats of stain for a fence. The number of coats you need can vary depending on the porosity of the type of wood. You can also apply an extra coat of stain if you want the color to look more saturated or to cover lap marks and patchy spots.

The distance between fence posts depends on the type of fence you’re installing. Wood and metal fence posts should be between 5 feet and 8 feet apart. Chain-link fence posts can be closer together at 4 feet apart, or the spacing can be up to 10 feet apart. Vinyl fence posts can be between 6 feet and 8 feet apart, and wire fence posts can be up to 12 feet apart.

Ideally, when you replace a fence post, you should also replace the concrete footing. The concrete bonds to your new post, creating a secure base. If you install a new post into old concrete, it won’t be as sturdy.

That said, it is possible. Sometimes the post will lift right out of the concrete. If not, you can use a high-lift car jack to try and lift the pole out of the footing. Put the new post into the same hole and backfill it with fast-setting concrete. Keep in mind, this won’t work well for metal posts.
