Jason (the pest expert) clearly described what he would do. ( He was about an hour later than he initially said he would be, but that was due to an unexpected event, and understandable. He phoned me to tell me he would be delayed.)
The fee ($159) was for the first visit only, and I was required to sign a contract for 6 more visits (at $60/visit plus tax) to completely take care of the problem.
(I had also phoned Orkin for an estimate, and for the same service, they would have charged $300 for the initial visit, and $81 for the follow up, with the same contract for a year.)
This was my first experience with a pest control company and I was satisfied.
One other note: I was concerned about the possible toxicity of the products used, as I have a cat, but I was assured that he would not be harmed by them. The work began on a timeline I was satisfied with, I needed to be flexible due to my work schedule and they had a lot of work going on due to recent hail damage so the dates of the work were fine with me. The heat outdoors was a factor, but they stuck to their work plan and got the jobs done in a short timeframe. The workers were all friendly, professional and very skilled at what they do. They did excellent work and you can tell they take pride in their work. They also made recommendations and I took advantage of that advice and the company was nice about adding some things I had not thought about.initially. They cleaned up completely after each job. In closing, I am completely satisfied with the work that was done to my home. I did not have to ask for a single thing to be done twice, and when I asked for slight modifications that needed to be revisited they were good about coming back and making the adjustments. I still have a contract left to be completed in September but I'm very happy with my choice to use this company. The quality of work makes the recommendation easy. I give them a strong A for their service P.S. Something to think about unrelated to the service provided by this contractor: I did have worries when material had to be left overnight because I live on a visible corner lot and the material sparked some unwanted attention. I guess times are hard out there, I felt I lived in a pretty nice neighborhood but that had no bearing on the risk. I kept things in a locked fenced area but still had two unwanted visits. Lucky for me the thieves in my area was clumsy both times and dropped their loot. Plus my dog was doing his job along with the motion lighting...but it did lead to a couple of sleep deprived nights. I ended up locking things I could carry in the garage a couple of times just to make sure nothing stopped my project from moving forward."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ok/oklahoma-city/discount-remodelers-reviews-3281326.htm"},"position":10}]}

Company was FAST in getting the construction started but SLOW in getting project finished. Contract contained MANY loops found along the construction phase which left room for deception in quality work and materials specified. Although the contracts are actually draw sheet you don't get to...

"They will change the contract, promise a refund and never send it. They also will not respond to inquiries. Promised call backs that never happen. Promised call from manager, never received. We had the work done in May and they are still keeping my money as of August. If they change the work order do not pay the full amount unless you get a new contract. I made the mistake of trusting them."

Concrete repair costs range anywhere from about $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot to fill minor cracks, to about $6 to $14 per square foot to replace damaged concrete slabs. Repair costs vary widely depending on the size and type of work needed. For example, replacing 100 square feet of driveway will cost between $600 to $1,400, on average.
The average cost of mudjacking is around $5per square foot of concrete, with most concrete leveling jobs totaling between $3 and $8per square foot. The typical cost to fix a sinking portion of concrete slab with mudjacking is around $1,100. The price you’ll pay depends on the size of the concrete slab you need to be leveled, the accessibility of the slab, and the type of material your contractor uses beneath the concrete to lift it back into place.
A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.
Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.
In most cases, no, mudjacking is not possible as a DIY job. Not only do you need specialized equipment to cut into your slab and pump the cementitious material underneath it, but it’s also a challenging process, and the consequences of making mistakes include additional structural damage to your home. It’s possible to rent mudjacking equipment to attempt a DIY repair, but the risk of added property damage usually isn’t worth the money you’ll save on labor, especially if the concrete you’re lifting is a part of your home’s foundation.
The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.
The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.
