"Hall Construction worked with us to build a new addition. They first removed a flat roof enclosed porch. A new addition was built on the existing foundation with new roof trusses and metal roofing and insulated walls and ceilings. New electrical service was added along with a mini split HVAC system. New flooring, drywall and windows make the room one of our favorite spaces. We also had Hall Construction replace the metal roof on our 80 year old barn. Both projects were completed in the timeframe promised and both were under budget. It was great to find a contractor that helped us get our projects finished. I would not hesitant to hire them again for any other projects that we might have in the future. I highly recommend Hall Construction for any building projects that you might have. My wife and I appreciate the quality work from Hall Construction."

"This one-star rating is generous! We are seven weeks into a four-day job at our house! The have been back three times to finish the job and it is still not done. My back yard is a mud pit! I have been informed by the "office" that it will take two more weeks before I can be put on the schedule for a crew to come back. The crew is working from their Lancaster office, and the managers won't return phone calls and are hiding behind the receptionist. I work just a few miles from their Lexington office, so I decided to pop in and talk to a different person only to find out that there is no staff in this office. The website for the Lexington office has a picture of the building and posted hours of 9 am to 6 pm, but it is just a building with mailboxes and a few shared meeting rooms used by several companies. Customer service is absolutely horrible. Think twice before hiring USS!"

Yes, you can pour concrete if it rained the day before, but you’ll need to drain the construction site to ensure there isn’t standing water where your slab will sit. You might need to manually remove any puddles and set up drainage on your site to dry it before pouring. Moist soil won’t be an issue, but standing water will throw off your concrete mix ratios. All these materials are weather-resistant and are easy to replace individually if damaged. When installed over a well-compacted base and maintained correctly, paver patios can last 50 years or more, making them a long-lasting outdoor choice.
