Then they looked for a used part. When that failed they found a custom fabricator to build the part. After comparing the cost to repair an old generator with a custom built part to the cost of a new and higher output generator, I went with new. I live on a mountaintop, the last house on the circuit. There was a bad storm on the horizon, and the owner Rusty Crites showed up 2-days early and installed the new unit in a snowstorm with 15 MPH winds and a below zero windchill just to make sure we were protected. The weather was so bad his crane froze in an extended position, and his propane radiant heater repeatedly blew out in the wind, yet he and his co-worker stayed until the job was finished and we were protected. I have been using this contractor for 10 years, both as a residential and commercial customer. He is proud of his reputation and stands by his work. As it is with all great contractors, there may occasionally be a few days wait before he can fit you in the schedule, but you won't regret it."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/wv/buckhannon/crites-electric-inc-reviews-5479888.htm"},"position":8},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"PRO LUBE & EXHAUST INC","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"WV","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"James F."},"reviewBody":"Steve is probably among the top 5 most honest vehicle repair shops in the county. He is known for his below market labor prices and he will search hard to find low cost non-oem parts. If you are on a budget and you are not in a rush this is a great garage. Brick mailbox repairs cost about $625 on average, ranging from about $500 to $750, depending on the extent of damage, type of brick and mortar, time of year, location, and experience level of the mason doing repairs. Hire a masonry contractor to inspect the brick mailbox’s damage and recommend a repair plan. They can also provide a price estimate that’s specific to your type and size of mailbox.
Yes, it’s usually possible to repair damaged brick mailboxes. If the masonry is damaged, the brick can be cut out and replaced, or the mortar joints can be cut out and retucked. However, the new mortar will likely be different in color from the original mortar joints. In most cases, if the mailbox itself is damaged, it’s possible to cut it out and replace it. Consult a masonry contractor to determine whether it’s worth repairing your brick mailbox based on its value and amount of damage.
Typically, a brick mason will repair a brick mailbox. They can provide an estimate for repairs, which may include sourcing replacement brick, mortar, and other materials. Homeowners are responsible for maintaining their own mailboxes. Otherwise, a property manager is responsible for repairs and maintenance if the Post Office does not maintain it. If you own your home, you are responsible for maintaining the mailbox at the specified height, distance from the road, and functionality.
Mailbox repair can cost anywhere from $100 to $300, depending on the type of mailbox, materials involved, and labor cost. The estimated cost of repairs also depends on whether you need to replace the mailbox post, the post’s construction, and type of mailbox.
