"Joey and his crew did beautiful work, making sure all roots were removed, installing landscaping concrete blocks along drive to hold back soil. Added well rotted manure and more soil, laid fabric, planted fifteen roses. In another area made a short brick path, and seeded old garden area for new lawn. Previously his crew replaced an old fence and added steps for access to the garden area. All of his crew were great, worked hard and made several excellent suggestions. Several neighbors have commented on how nice and hard working the crew was, and how well done and how great everything looks."

"Yes, his staff did an excellent job on my lawn. I also needed him to come back this week to refresh it earlier than originally planned because of out of town company and he answered within minutes with a response . I truly appreciate what I have experienced thus far and I find him and his staff professional in both communication and work! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"I think they treated the wrong lawn. The note they sent me via text message referenced trees and shrubs in my yard, I have none. They also did not leave a yard marker showing they had been there. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

The best way to clean artificial turf is to use a stiff-bristled broom or rake to loosen up any large debris once a week. The process will also redistribute the infill material that keeps your turf blades standing up straight and evenly. For artificial turf maintenance, do not vacuum your turf or apply cleaning solutions. If you need to rinse the blades, spritz them with a light hose.

How often you should maintain your yard depends on your climate and what season it is. A general rule of thumb is to maintain a lawn height of three inches.

Generally, it is not necessary to remove old mulch before applying a new layer. As organic mulch breaks down, it enriches the soil with nutrients. However, you should remove the old layer if it shows signs of fungus or disease, which can be common in moist areas, or if the total depth is already too thick. Avoid letting the total mulch depth exceed 3 inches, as this can harm plant roots. If you do remove old, disease-free mulch, it can be added to a compost pile.

Some things you can do to prepare for yard work services are aerate the soil, fertilize your grass, keep weeds under control, regularly mow your lawn, and water your grass.

Always do a poop sweep before mowing your lawn. Running your mower over dog waste can be messy, unsanitary, and smelly, and it can spread the poop to other parts of your lawn. Plus, you won’t be able to get it out of the grass (or the mower blades) easily.
