That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "We are very pleased. We interviewed a number of security companies and received proposals including DIY to the big national and regional companies. I was not satisfied with any of the companies until I learned of 1stSecurity. Their pricing was good, both for the monthly fee ($40) and for the cost of the equipment. The manager, Jeremy, was very open and straightforward. The installer was also excellent. We asked them to install system prior to a trip we were taking in a few days and they met this short timeframe. The installation took 1-2 hours. The equipment we purchased was fairly extensive as we have a fairly large house and we wanted comprehensive coverage. This included 2 glass break sensors, a motion detector, and numerous door and window switches as well as a fire detection monitor. I accidentally set off the alarm and received a call from the monitoring company in under 10 seconds. The control panel for the system is an easy to use touch screen device, similar to an iPad. The system is very capable so you can connect smart devices to it if so inclined. We have been very pleased with the product and service so far (about 2 months)."

He did an absolute wonderful job showing me what the issues were underneath the trim, telling me options, even consulted a builder friend of his to confirm the best possible solution. The final result was spectacular and you can tell the care and pride he takes in his work. He was transparent with pricing and what he was going to do, and he asked me several times my opinion about the the work to be done and the appearance. He also arrived when he said he would and completed the work carefully but efficiently . He will be my go to person from now on if we need any handyman services in our home. I can't say enough about how pleased we are. He's also a very nice and personable individual."
