This company, Sheboygan Flooring & Furniture, replaced the carpeting in my apartment (my home). I have already written a review for this company on the BBB website and Yelp, and, the manager of this comapny replied both times by saying he talked to ?the management? of my apartment building and they were happy with the work done. In other words, he was saying ?I DON?T MATTER? (not as a customer or a human being). And, as I said before, Sheboygan Flooring and Furniture is obviously not going to bite the hand that feeds them--they have said they do all of the flooring work here at St. Nicholas Apartments. It is important to note that when the old carpeting was torn out and replaced, I had just completed months of intense chemo therapy and radiation treatments and my immune system was trashed.  I must provide the background information needed to support my review and will finish by describing my experience with this company. When I moved into my apartment (St. Nicholas Apartments, Sheboygan, WI) THE CARPETING THAT WAS IN MY APARTMENT WAS FULL OF "HUMAN WASTE" (HUMAN FECES AND URINE) left there from the previous tenant who lived alone, was old, and had become incontinent, and WHO SOILED THE CARPETING OVER AND OVER. The building maintenance man (aka: the management) was the guy who made the decision to leave the extremely toxic, contaminated carpeting in place, and just have it cleaned--WHICH BY THE WAY IS AGAINST THE LAW!!! (The prevailing opinion is that it should have been treated like someone died here--handled by professionals). What kind of person would do something like that? Obviously, someone with no moral compass, a disturbed person, and bottom line, someone who should not be making those decisions. Which is why I have made complaints to the Sheboygan Health Dept., Sheboygan Building Inspector, HUD field office, the HUD Office in Washington, D.C., the Dept. Of Agriculture Consumer Protection Dept., Federal Trade Commission, etc. This creep not only broke the law and endangered my health, and everyone who walked into my apartment, he actually had the audacity to stand and argue that the carpeting had been "professionally cleaned" and "it's only 5 years old, its brand new." It doesn't matter if it was only 5 days old, if it was soiled over and over with human waste in that 5 days--it is not salvagable, not fit to be left for the next tenant. PERIOD.  The young carpet installers were following the maintenance man's "suggestions" in throwing tools down as hard as they could just a few feet behind me in an attempt to....what...scare me? I still cannot believe how badly the carpet installers marked up my walls. Again, at the suggestion of the maintenance man (who kept walking by with his hands in his pockets smiling from ear to ear--he was almost giddy). I had asked them when they first arrived to be careful not to kick up too much of the dust which would be full of mold spores and countless other contaminants. Their response was to not vacuum but sweep (with a broom) what was left from the old carpeting. The one boy swept up a cloud so thick it choked me, even though I was wearing a surgical mask, then they left for lunch or a cigarette break which lasted until the cloud settled. That contaminated dust settled on everything in my apartment: the walls, blinds, doors, closet shelves, anything on my closet shelves, etc. It would have contaminated everything in my kitchen except that I put a sheet of plastic over the doorway (thank God). All of this because the maintenance man had his decision overturned by the real manager and had to spend a couple hundred dollars on new carpeting for my apartment. He was not happy to say the least (I believe it has something to do with how employees earn bonuses). When I made a remark he didn't like he flared his nostrils, clenched his fists, and took a step forward like he was going to punch me in the face. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT LOOK AS LONG AS I LIVE. I have heard of him getting nasty with other tenants as well. Just to clarify for the public "THIS IS A BUILDING FOR SENIORS AND DISABLED PEOPLE." This is a grown man, I'm guessing 40ish in age, using intimidation to get people not to ask for what they deserve. Do you know how scary it is for me living here now knowing how this guy thinks? I don't think you&nb...
