"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

In this business, there are two kinds of people. The first would be the average company who works an area, doing the same jobs repetitively. The second, a company that has traveled state to state, completed jobs in every atmosphere, and with every request imaginable. We've done small bathroom remodels, to tile-animal art on private homes in upper class neighborhoods, to creating home decor and outside masterpieces completely out of tile, stone, marble, and about 35 other materials! Contact us for a free estimate within 45 miles from our home in Horicon, WI. We also handle intermediate electrical, masonry, remodels, demo, fencing, painting, intermediate plumbing, a lot of drywall of all types, and custom designs for household items such as cabinets, porches, decks, and more! This business is run by my dad, myself, my brothers, and 3 of my best friends. We work fast and accurately so you can hurry to enjoy your new home improvements/renovations! "I called because my pottery kiln was not working, I thought it was just a problem with my breaker.  I was wrong! After checking power in my studio I found out that half of my studio was not getting power and my 220 outlet were only putting out 110 power(not Good)
I called K&N services and told them this was an urgent problem . He said he would stop in the next day and HE DID After checking out my electrical box he discovered that my main breaker was out. This could have ended upa $1300.00 because my electrical box is an outdated model . He went to several electrical supply houses and found one for my outdated electrical box, saving me a ton of money. He was fast, courtious, and saved me a lot of money. This not the kind of service I am used to recieving , I will use him for all future work on my home and studio, Including a new roof in spring.

"First, they were recommended to us for the whole house generator by home depot.  We were so happy with the generator that we had him do a bathroom fan at my house and a bathroom fan at my son's house.  I did some checking and that was a reasonable price.  With the work he did, it was more than reasonable.  The job was a little more involved than he thought it would be and he didn't have any problem with any of it.  Without anything to judge the pricing from, other than online and a couple of guys I had come over who weren't on the same page as me, I'd say excellent.  The quality was top of the line.  As soon as he got the generator, he got over here to put it in. As a matter of fact, I am thinking about calling him again for something."

Chandelier Installation FAQs, answered by experts

Combining different shapes with your chandelier and table can be a stylish way to add depth to your dining room. Whether you’re using a round chandelier over a rectangular table or a square chandelier over a round table, the general sizing principle is the same: Measure the narrowest point of the table and the widest point of the chandelier so you don’t end up with a fixture that overwhelms the space.

The average cost to install outdoor or landscape lighting is around $4,000, with most projects ranging from $2,000 to $6,000. The total cost can vary widely depending on several factors, including the number of fixtures, design complexity, and the type and quality of the lights used, such as wall sconces, pathway lights, or lamp posts. Other factors that influence the price are the square footage of the area being lit, the amount of electrical work needed, any required excavation or trenching, and local permitting costs. For specific types, you might pay around $100 for pathway or string lighting and up to $700 for lamp post lighting.

Yes, tackling blown fuses and broken light bulbs is definitely safe. Fixing the wiring on a strand of Christmas lights isn’t a good idea, though, because of the danger of shock and fire. However, if you don’t feel comfortable working with any type of electricity, consider hiring a professional Christmas light installer to manage the job safely and efficiently.

Pool light replacements are often more expensive compared to other pool parts, like pump motors, or standard light bulbs for indoor use. The reason for the higher cost is that pool lights are specially designed and made with parts meant to keep swimmers safe. The light fixture and surrounding parts protecting the bulb must be waterproof, tightly sealed, and resistant to extreme temperatures.

There are four main types of lighting used in homes: ambient, task, accent, and decorative. Within these categories, there are a number of fixtures to choose from including ceiling-mounted lights, floor lamps, under-cabinet lights, track lighting, and more.

Choosing the fixture that’s right for you depends on your home design and the area you’re looking to illuminate.
