Often, the snow was cleared to a depth of 2-3 inches. This left a lot of ice build-up over the course of the winter. Though the boundries of our driveway were clearly marked by them, they plowed over about 2-3 feet of our lawn. This tore out the sod and left bare dirt. They did not care about meeting the original timeframe they gave regarding when the lawn tractor should be ready, nor did they care about calling me to update me as they encountered delays in service. They told me that my lawn tractor would be ready in about a week, and four weeks later I was still calling them twice a week to find out the status of my lawn tractor repair. When I finally went to their place of business in person and complained, I finally got some action from them and they got my lawn tractor repaired in two days. However, I do not feel that I should have had to go down there in order to get results and when I told them that, they were very unapologetic about the delay I encountered and therefore, I will not do business with them again. It started with a single name of a handyman - Jeffery Selvig. Turns out Jeff, along with his partners Jason and Josh, make up the 3-man company Agile Siding. I learned that they can pretty much do it all, and do it right. Lack of experience hiring out house repair projects left me overly cautious and VERY slow to take action. So, I put it off and put it off.... I am a middle-aged procrastinator with, fortunately AND unfortunately, very little house maintenance experience to draw upon. Our old house has been great, but it was time - actually, past time - for projects to be addressed. It began with a name and phone number jotted on a post-it note. Word of mouth felt like the best way to prod me into taking action. A neighbor passed on the name of local craftsman, Jeff Selvig, who completed a recent roofing job for them. They were very happy with the quality of work and the price was good and fair. Shortly after making the initial phone call, I met with Jeff Selvig. Some people you just like and trust right away. Jeff is one of those people. We talked about my long overdue garage roofing problem. He proceeded to study situation, and in the process educated me to the who/what/where/why of my roofing situation. An estimate was delivered that afternoon. Everything was in order. He even encouraged me to get 1 or 2 other estimates, which I did. His price was fair, detailed, more comprehensive that other estimates -- and, delivered with sincerity and confidence. We shook hands and I felt good about having finally taken action on my project. Materials were ordered. A couple days later, upon returning from work, a handsome new garage roof greeted me -- complete with repaired roof sheeting, facia and soffits. Started and completed that day. I was impressed. It looked great. This gave me the confidence to ask...Can you repair with my gutter problem (way up there on the top level) which leaves a sheet of ice on my driveway every winter? Do you do flooring? Can you repair this damaged bathroom subflooring? Do you install kitchen countertops? He could...and did. We kept throwing projects at the guys. They kept impressing us. Price was always fair, the quality of work exceptional. The work ethic of Jeff, Jason and Josh is impressive. These guys work as a team with a true efficiency and economy of movement that comes from experience. The follow through after each project was great. Clean, orderly, prompt, eager and good natured at all times. Good people, hard workers, quality work, fair price. It has been a very rewarding experience working with Jeff, Jason and Josh. The house looks great!"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/wi/hudson/agile-exteriors-inc-reviews-2094241.htm"},"position":10}]}
Lawn Tool Repair reviews from real Angi homeowners in Tainter Lake, WI
Kim did the repair. When I dropped it off he answered all my questions, gave me a great informational tour of the shop. He explained he was pretty swamped with repairs & that it may take 6-8 wks. This was fine with me as I was in no rush. Great service, friendly people.

FAQs for lawn tool repair projects in Tainter Lake, WI
Lawn mower repairs typically range from $40 to $90, with most people spending right around $60. However, your final total will depend on the type of lawn mower you have, the repair needed, and part availability.
Lawnmowers require seasonal maintenance to continue working correctly. With routine maintenance, you can extend its life to the fullest, which is around 10 years for push mowers and 5-8 years for riding mowers. To keep your lawn mower working correctly, you’ll want to take the following steps at least once a year:
Replace the spark plug
Change the oil
Drain the fuel tank
Clean the mowing deck (ideally, after every mow)
Replace the air filter
Check the carburetor
Sharpen the blades
Fog the engine
Check the tires
Before your lawn mower quits working entirely, it’ll likely give you some signs of wear and tear that indicate a repair is needed. Signs that you might need repairs to your lawn mower include:
Oil leaks
Vibrating engine
Smoking exhaust
Increase in time to mow
Unusual noises
Increase in gas consumption
If you are a skilled DIYer with experience, you can do certain lawn mower repairs yourself. However, if you’ve never worked on a lawn mower before or if your mower needs extensive repairs, it’s best to let a skilled lawn mower technician work on your machine. While it might be a little more expensive due to the cost of labor, nothing beats knowing that the job was done successfully (and often with warranties).
In many cases, it might be cheaper to repair your lawn mower than to replace it, depending on what needs to be repaired. The cost to replace a lawn mower dramatically varies, from $60 for basic models to over $15,000 for the top-of-the line models.
Small repairs like a spark plug replacement can be as little as $20, so replacing the whole lawn mower wouldn’t make much sense. However, repairing a crankshaft could be much more expensive at $500 to $900, so depending on the age of your mower, it might be best to replace it. It’s best to speak with your lawn mower repair technician to determine which option is best for you.
