We have a Kenmore fridge and they've been very good. The service was very good. They were very prompt and looked at the problem and tried to explain it. We were still charged a service charge, but it was an appropriate amount. I don't know if it was something my husband could have. The price could have been more like $50-$60 but I know they have to make money.
