Currently we have 6 full time employees but are able to bring in extra workers that have worked for us in the past & are just as skilled & efficient as are the other employees. The company was started by my father John & a business partner when I, Chris was about 15. I have worked full time for the company since I was 17 years old & am now 36. I took to it right away & was very good at it. I look at it as more of an art-form that just a job to do & I take great pride in the work we do. Because when you can take a 100 year old piece of stone floor that has been scratched, gouged & had all of it shine & luster just obliterated, then refinish it to make it look like it was just polished in the factory & has a mirror shine that you can read the wattage of the light bulbs in the ceiling off of, you know you've done your job well & it gives you that sense of pride from a job well done. Everyone that has worked for us who came to us without a background in stone restoration, I trained myself & held them up to the standards that I hold myself to. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I always do my utmost to make sure that every part of a floor, wall, counter-top, vanity, tub surround, stair, baseboard or any other piece of Marble,Granite,Terrazzo,Travertine or natural stone is refinished to the best that it can be. We do sub-contract. We are fully insured. Some companies & corporations require we carry a minimum of several million dollars in insurance to be able to do stone restoration work at their facilities & we do have that coverage. Depending on the size & scope of the job, sometimes a deposit is required before we can begin work. Because of the type of work this is, there are no special promotions offered unless arrangements are made between the company owner & the customer. There are no options for financing. Payment is due either upon completion of work or within no more than 30 days of completion of work.

Fountains questions, answered by experts

A koi pond should be at least 5 feet deep to keep the fish healthy and ensure they don’t freeze in winter. Koi fish are also known for growing large, so the more room you have, the better. A larger koi pond size will allow the fish to grow bigger than a smaller one will, and the more fish you have, the bigger the pond you’ll need. Learn how to build a pond in your backyard to ensure it remains functional and aesthetically pleasing for a long time.

In short, yes, a pond can add to your home’s value. However, whether it adds value will depend on the condition and aesthetic of your pond. Having this feature already built into a yard’s home can be appealing to homebuyers who value its aesthetic and would prefer not to build it themselves. But if it is not kept in good condition, it could turn buyers away.

One of the most important parts of building a pond is digging the right depth. Your pond needs to be at least one to two feet deep. The specifics of the depth will depend on factors such as the placement of the pond and whether you plan on having fish. If you have fish in your pond, it will need to be at least two feet deep.

A good rule of thumb is to change 5% to 15% of your koi pon’s water every week. Partial water changes help keep your koi healthy, and replacing small amounts at a time prevents causing stress for the fish.

Installing an outdoor water fountain costs $2,700 on average, not including the cost of the unit. Prices range from $150 to $10,650, depending on your location, the type of fountain, size, and accessibility to the site. Self-contained fountains and water features recirculate the water within the unit. Depending on size and features like multi-tiered cascading bowls, they typically cost from $50 to $5,000. More elaborate fountains with waterfalls and ponds can cost from $450 to $10,000 or more.
