I contacted the company after waiting 4 months to have my work done, I wanted to cancel the contract and have them reimburse me. I called multiple times with no response. I finally sent a later after 5 months informing them again, I do not want to do business with them. I finally received AN EMAIL response that they wouldn't cancel. Customer service is terrible and at this point, I am still waiting to be reimbursed from them. Highly recommend doing business elsewhere."

Gutter guards can slow down the process of getting clogged gutters, but they won’t technically reduce your chances of it happening. They’re not a permanent solution. Instead, they’re a temporary fix where after some time, leaves and debris will continue to build on top of them and make your gutters less effective. Periodically cleaning your gutters is the best way to reduce the chances of them clogging.

While gutter guards offer protection for your gutter system, they aren't completely safe from clogs. Over time, small pieces of debris can get through gutter screens. This can eventually cause clogged gutters, gutter leaks, mold formation, and other problems that can compromise your roof, foundation, and other parts of your home. In fact, it's common to see plants growing from gutter screens when gutter guard cleaning has been neglected. Knowing how to clean gutter guards is important to protect your gutter system from damage or malfunction.

Several options for hanging Christmas lights won't damage gutters. Using shingle clips avoids any hardware contact with them, and using plastic gutter clips minimizes the likelihood of scratching gutters. Remember not to rest a ladder, especially a metal one, against the gutters, and use a ladder stand-off device or stabilizer if you need to use an extension ladder. 

If you don’t have the right gutter sizes installed, the water may not flow properly. Small gutters need a sharper slope to move the water faster before it can overflow. Larger gutters can hold more water if you must use a shallow slope on the length of the gutter. A gutter installer can provide advice on the right gutter size.

Place screws for gutter fascia brackets on every other rafter tail or a distance of no more than three feet apart. Rafter tails are typically spaced 16 inches apart from the center, allowing you to place brackets 32 inches apart.
