"I was very satisfied with the service provided. I felt the individuals involved were very professional and pleasant to deal with. They came to site and provided a thorough estimate on paper before starting project. They communicated by internet with photos to keep me informed of progress of project. They returned phone calls promptly. They cleaned up area nicely and planted grass seed when project was complete. They obviously make an effort to keep customers happy."

"Accurate Landscape is a small family owned company. Jim, the owner, provides outstanding service at affordable prices. We contracted with him to regrade portions of the back yard after construction equipment caused drainage problems in the yard. Jim goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is totally satisfied no matter what it takes. We would hire this company again for all our landscaping needs and would highly recommend him and his company to everyone."

"This is an actual professional landscaping company - not just a guy with a trailer. The salesman, I believe his name was Dale, was at my parents’ house and provided a quote within one day and had workers on site within a week. There was no additional charges, missed deadlines, or unprofessionalism that often occurs with services of this nature. Highly recommend!"

"I had called for service on my fuse box (NOT windows). The electrician came in a timely manner. He was VERY helpful and actually did some extra stuff that I needed done but was hesitant to mention because I wasn't sure I could afford it. He was very nice, polite, professional and helpful. I would call again for service in a heartbeat!"

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

Late August, September, and mid-October are the ideal months for planting a young tree. However, the best time to plant a tree ultimately depends on when the weather transitions to fall-like conditions and eventually winter frost. As long as the hottest days of summer have passed and the ground hasn’t frozen yet, you can still successfully plant trees.

You'll likely need more than great home staging to sell your home. Now is a great time to get to work on the curb appeal of your home . Hire local exterior painters and landscapers to coat the exterior of your home and bring it new life with some sprucing up.

If you’re hiring a landscaper to plant the garden of your dreams, you do not need to provide them with plants that you bought yourself from a nursery. While you certainly can provide your landscaper with plants, keep in mind that some nurseries provide discounts to landscaping companies, therefore potentially lowering your materials cost. Beyond the cost of the plants themselves, you need to have additional materials like topsoil and mulch for the project. Most likely, your landscaper can get a discount on these materials as well, so it’s worth speaking with them before making any large purchases.

There are two main times of year to apply mulch: mid to late spring and late fall. Spreading mulch in mid to late spring helps protect new seedlings as the soil warms up. It's best to wait until temperatures are steady, as mulching too early in the spring can slow down the soil's warming process and hinder plant growth. Fall mulching is also beneficial, as it insulates the soil and helps regulate its temperature when the first frosts arrive.

It is possible to plant a tree over a ground stump if it was ground very deeply. However, it is typically best to plant elsewhere so your new tree has room to establish a strong, healthy root system. If you want to plant a tree in the same spot where you currently have a stump, you may want to consider other options, such as stump removal.
