"Our house was long overdue for painting and siding repair. After power washing, they took the time to scrape down to make certain all the loose paint was removed. Then after one coat of primer, went back over the bad areas with oil base primer to seal. With two coats of premium quality paint, it looks great! John also brought on a qualified carpenter to help fix the damaged areas. They even replaced some roofing shingles for no extra charge. I would definitely recommend Great Lakes Painting! "A & B Coatings installed a flake floor system in our finished basement and it turned out so great we asked them to install matching flooring on the stairs of our open staircase. They answered our questions and were very responsive. Their service and communication was great. The floor system looks really nice â we love it and weâ ve gotten a lot of compliments on it. Some perks about this type of flooring: (1) The stairs have a great no-slip texture. (2) It looks much better than a plain epoxy or paint finish and easily as nice as the carpet we had previously. (3) The flake flooring in our basement is much warmer than I expected; certainly warmer than the ceramic tile we have in the bathroom. (4) Itâ s easy to take care of and the pattern in the flake doesnâ t show dust/dirt easily. (5) We quoted new carpet for other bedrooms in our house and that confirmed the pricing on the flake flooring system is reasonable, especially considering the durability of this flooring vs. carpet. Weâ re very happy with the flooring and our experience with A & B was very positive."

"ordered custom pella window in AUG 2022 with quoted 8-10w LT. Follwed up after 12+ wks for update on order only to learn rep not with Pella. Took a couple of days of calls and email to showroom for a response / update. We received communication that our order had material back-ordered and our window wouldn't be installed until Feb 2023. I then requested the sales mgr (Matt S***) contact me to discuss what actions had been taken to mitigate the LT and for a parts list of what was holding up our order. After a week of being ignored, drove the 50m to the showroom to get a response, which I did. Matt did reach me to confirm our 8-10wk order would not be honoured and he could not provide the requested information. Further, after I injected I have to consider cancelling the order he stated "that would come with a restock charge of several hundred $$$) which was BS because the clause on the order stated a right to cancel with 3wk notice. Our order by this time was 3+ months past due. Would recommend investing efforts to find competitor to the franchise. Of positive note: The contracted installation crew was best in class, highly professional and delivered exceptional workmanship and attention to quality and cleanliness. Couldn't be more satisfied with the product they delivered. Will write their review after this post."
