"Ken was fantastic from start to finish. I hired him to remove an old basketball hoop, pour new cement, and install a new one. The job turned out to be much tougher than expected—the old cement was nearly impossible to break up and the clay ground was hard to dig deeper for the required dept —but Ken handled it like a pro, using a jackhammer and digging through hard clay soil without complaint. Despite the extra work and materials needed, he stuck to his original price even when I asked to pay him more, which speaks volumes about his integrity. He returned a few days later to assemble the hoop, and the final result was perfect—every measurement was spot-on. Ken went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again. Highly recommended!"

"I called them for junk removal, but I’m 90% sure I accidentally hired a search-and-rescue team. They rolled up in a gleaming GMC truck, hopped out like they were on a mission, and dove into my garage like it was an archeological dig. Ten minutes in, they ‘rescued’ a recliner that had been buried so long I think it gained sentience. Then they pulled out a box labeled ‘Important Documents’… which turned out to be 300 Taco Bell sauce packets from 2004. They handled it like hazardous material, loading it onto the trailer with tongs. By the time they finished, my garage was cleaner than when I bought the house. I half expected them to hand me a medal for “Most Dramatic Transformation.” If they start offering to clean up my life choices, I’m signing up immediately."

The main issue with garbage disposals is clogging. This can mean a clogging of the pipes that expel the food along with water, or a clogging of the mechanical parts themselves. No, you don’t need a garbage disposal for a dishwasher. A dishwasher will work without a garbage disposal. However, the two appliances pair well and are often installed together. It is rare to see a home with a dishwasher that doesn’t have a garbage disposal, but that doesn’t mean it's not possible. Each appliance serves its own purpose. 

These appliances do unscrew, but you need to disconnect everything properly when you replace your garbage disposal. Make sure you shut the power off to the area first and check that it’s off with a voltage detector. Disconnect the main drain line and P-trap, and then disconnect the dishwasher drain line if you have one connected. You can then unscrew your garbage disposal using a disposal wrench. Just make sure you disconnect the electrical lines before removing your appliance.
