"Paid him over 12k for a job he said would take 6 weeks. It has been over 6 months and only completed some stairs to the camper. Has lied saying work has been completed. Still owes us over 9k and refused to pay us back. We now will be taking him to court. The picture provided is proof of his lies. I have him texting me saying he completed painting the roof. Well you can see he did not."

Painting over polyurethane without sanding is not advisable. Sanding, followed by priming, is pivotal in ensuring proper adhesion of the new paint. You can turn on box fans and crack open windows to add circulation, but be sure no dust or debris gets on your wet walls. In the end, it’s best to be patient and ensure your paint is fully dry before applying a second coat or moving items back into a room.

You can paint over wood, wood-laminate, and metal cabinets, but you need to prepare the surface first. Plastic laminate cabinets and thin veneers may accept a layer of paint depending on their condition, but they require special techniques and paints. If your cabinets sag or have significant damage, it may be a better investment to replace your cabinets than paint over them.
