"Will is very easy to work with and understood our goals. His recommendations were perfect. We are planning to hire him again for other future projects. I highly recommend him for interior painting. Our project went very smoothly. William Capelle - Green Bay"

Small jobs welcome

I am a dedicated Husband and father to 2 great kids (Addy and Austin).\n\nI grew up in Appleton and lived in the Fox Valley my entire life. I have had a successful career in Operations, but its time for a change.\n\nI am watching my parents and my friends parents age and struggle to maintain their homes. It's hard to watch someone lose something they worked so hard for just because of physical limitations/aging. \n\nThat is why I started my business. I want to support people's lives by helping them stay in their home. \n\nYou need it done, I can get it done.

"I needed a vinyl siding repair and the first co. I spoke with quote me what I thought was very high. Then I found Andy and he gave me a VERY good quote! An honest quote. Andy showed up when he said he would, we chatted very briefly and he set up and finished the work very quickly and exactly as I expected! Andy is a great communicator. If he canâ t answer, he returns your call asap and listens to what youâ re asking and the. You just set the date and time and he arrives and does the work. Heâ s friendly but also a very hard worker. Iâ d recommend Andy to ANYONE! Iâ m almost hoping to find another project for him to do! He has my confidence for sure!"

Countertops and Backsplashes questions, answered by experts

Epoxy is the best sealer for concrete countertops. It fills in gaps, rough areas, and imperfections for a smooth finish and will usually last the life of the concrete. Other options include acrylic and polyurethane sealers, which protect the countertops from stains but must be reapplied every few years to maintain proper surface protection.

You can cut countertops without chipping by using your saw correctly and having a new fine-toothed blade. You can also put masking tape on the front of the countertop material across the cut line and cut from front to back. However, it is very hard to cut countertops without chipping them, especially if they are made of stone or more fragile materials like laminate. The best advice is to know how to use the equipment, use the correct cutting method for the material, cut from back to front, move slowly, and practice on scrap material first.

Quartzite is more expensive than granite, largely because of its rarity. Granite is naturally more common. A granite slab generally costs $40 to $60 per square foot (excluding super-rare types), while quartzite slabs cost anywhere from $50 to $150 per square foot.

With both materials, it’s usually more affordable to purchase stones that are readily available in your location. You may need to import other stones, which come at a higher cost.

Original Gorilla Glue is not a good choice for laminate countertops. It is not a contact cement, which is the best choice for this material, and it does not explicitly state that it should be used on laminate. Perhaps the best reason to avoid using Gorilla Glue on laminate is that it expands three times its original size, which could lead to your laminate being pushed away from the countertops.

There are many differences between solid surface and quartz countertops. Whether one is as good as the other will depend on what you value most in a counter. These two materials are nonporous, although quartz is more durable. Some people may prefer the look of quartz, although they’re both available in many different colors and designs.
