"We were looking to replace our old bathtub and were pleased to find out that we could use a tub insert instead of replacing the entire tub. "The soap dish glued/mounted on the wall needed to be moved because we keep getting bruises from bumping into it. When I asked to have it moved, I was told it would leave a noticeable mark on the shower wall. I got the message that they were not going to move the soap dish. That was from customer service. Since that conversation, I have had no alternative solution from TundraLand."

The lifespan of a shower base depends on how often the shower is used, how it’s used, and how well it’s maintained. Acrylic and fiberglass shower bases last 10 to 15 years, while tile shower bases can last up to 20 years. Most shower pans can be cut to size, including those made from mortar, polystyrene, tile (and the under-tile ABS lining), and even solid surfaces.
