Emergency services offered

"Greg, the electrician from Ashcroft, was amazing. He spent 8 hours solving all my electrical issues including adding two new outlets in the garage; troubleshooting a living room circuit that was wired incorrectly; repairing an outdoor coach light; repairing fireplace recessed lights; changing to. GFCI outlet for a pool heater; removing 2 non functioning exterior outlets; adding a GFCI outlet to protect the basement and an outlet for the washing machine; adding GFCI outlets in the kitchen; and removing double taps in the electrical panel. He was efficient and was able to identify problems quickly. He explained everything he was doing in plain layman terms so that I was clear about what the issues were and how he was going to remedy them. Best customer service ever. When I put my request in on home advisor for an electrician after work in the evening, Greg responded without minutes. A+++++ service!!!!!!"

Outdoor Kitchens questions, answered by experts

Summer kitchens can cost anywhere from $1,000 to $50,000 to build. The average price is on the lower end of that range, however, at $15,500. The typical homeowner is more likely to pay between $6,000 and $25,000 than approach the $50,000 mark. Materials for framework, flooring, and countertops are the most expensive type of expenditure, with appliances coming in second. There are a few additional costs that may not immediately come to mind when planning an outdoor kitchen, some of which include: permits, routine maintenance, pest control, and winterization.

Whenever you’re on the hunt for furniture, either indoor or outdoor, start your search at local second hand shops. While they might not always have exactly what you need, even just one deeply discounted chair or table will cut down a lot on your overall expenses. From there, check newsgroups to find free or inexpensive used items. For deals on new items, try discount home and garden retailers.

DIY is possible for small setups, but professional services ensure proper gas, plumbing, and electrical work.

Weatherproofing and winterizing your outdoor kitchen is extremely important, especially if you experience intense weather events. Make sure to choose weather-resistant furniture and waterproof containers to store ingredients. Also, go with a high-quality grill that’s built to last and protect your cabinets with sealant or varnish. Finally, invest in a covering of some kind for when it rains or snows.

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.
