Professional results, whatever the job. Ask about our winter special. Additional phone number - (715) 412-0180.

"Bjorn came out to inspect the proposed job and to provide an estimate. The estimate was detailed and timely and we scheduled the work. He removed the cabinet doors to take back to his shop to spray and cure and then hand painted the cabinet bases after performing minor carpentry touch-ups where needed (sanding, and small fill-ins). Bjorn's attention to detail was evident as he labeled each door upon removal and kept the door hinges next to the install locations to make the reinstall easy and seamless. He also sanded the edges of various doors to make the reinstalled fit and appearance better than when he started. We provided the paint used previously and Bjorn suggested a superior product (Sherwin Williams Emerald) which turned out great. Day 3 was reinstalling all doors and doing touch-up to complete the job. The work was done extremely well, he cleaned-up the kitchen well and I would recommend Bjorn for any interior painting work, but especially for detail jobs like kitchen cabinets. We will be using Bjorn again for more work in the house soon."

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Wall panels offer functional and aesthetic benefits. From a practical standpoint, panels can improve your home's insulation and energy efficiency, especially if you opt for solid wood panels. They can also help protect your existing wall.

Aesthetically, wall panels have a knack for adding dynamic texture, warmth, and sophistication to a room. And thanks to their many different shapes, sizes, and styles, wall panels can elevate a wide variety of home designs.

Finally, it’s relatively easy to cover wall panels, so you have some flexibility if you end up not liking the look over time.

You can put wallpaper in a bathroom, but peel-and-stick wallpaper sometimes doesn’t adhere as well in a humid bathroom as traditional wallpaper with adhesive. If your bathroom has fans that aid in ventilation, you can reduce problems with humidity for peel-and-stick wallpaper. Selecting a vinyl- or polyester-based peel-and-stick wallpaper should give you more durable results than other materials.

The color of the paint, its opacity, and the depth of the texture on the paper all affect how many coats of paint you need to apply to paintable wallpaper. You'll need at least two coats of paint to ensure even coverage. Don’t be surprised if you need to apply three coats if the embossing is very deep or if you use a dark color.

The average cost of wallpaper installation is around $550 per project, or between $200 and $1,500, for most homeowners. Since projects and application areas vary wildly by size, it’s usually more helpful to have an estimate per square foot, which is between $1 and $7 per square foot, or an average of $4 per square foot. Project prices can fall above this range, though, especially if you purchase custom wallpaper or a luxury product. The best way to get an estimate for your project is to have a professional inspect your space and provide a quote.

Because replacing pool tiles requires fully draining your pool, it’s a great opportunity to complete other projects. You may want to replace your pool’s vinyl liner or repair cracks. You might also replace your swimming pool heater or even take on the cost of resurfacing your pool. Resurfacing, although relatively costly, can help prolong the lifespan of your pool.
