Raised around his dad's plumbing and excavating business and his grandparent's dairy farm, Jake learned about hard work and honesty at a very early age. He began his construction career as an apprentice carpenter with a local commercial contractor. Learning the trade through hands-on experience, Jake became a journeyman carpenter and quickly progressed to a job foreman.
