The CGA title is the highest level of achievement in the jewelry industry. Currently in North America and Canada only about 425 individuals have earned this prestigious title. A Certified Gemologist has undergone gemological training and certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as well as the AGS (American Gem Society) they are specially trained in diamond grading, gem identification, synthetic gemstones, gemstone enhancements, and gem and jewelry care.
