"I left a message with Steve describing the work we needed. He took the time to call back, and left a message explaining that finishing cabinets wasn't their specialty, and left a recommendation. I really appreciated that he took the time to help me get connected to the right person for the job --- this, I think, demonstrates good character."

"Well it took some time for them to get out there because we had lots of rain that week, but when they showed up, they were great, I cant believe they even took the time to do a little shed for me that was not even in the quote, and did not charge me for it, they said they felt bad because the rain kept delaying them but that was not there fault, wow what a professional company, you don't see guys like Mr. Moss anymore you could tell his work is very important to him....."

Matt's Handyman Services was Established in August 2018 . After feeling that there was way more to life then what Matt was doing , he decided to take matters in his own hands and start carving out his goals. The goals of listening to each client and hearing how to serve them the best is our top priority . Seeing the impact of how Matt's Handyman Services gave all of our clients more time to create memories with their loved ones without the stress of the never ending "honey do " list is so rewarding ! Like our client Barbara had to say " Matt is an excellent repair man and does many other things as well, like doing an awesome job painting my bathroom, repositioning and repairing my mailbox. My tile flooring in my dining room has received many compliments. Also he is handy with car repairs and maintenance. I couldn't be more satisfied." Wallpapering FAQs, answered by experts

Yes, you can apply peel-and-stick wallpaper over wood paneling, but it requires significant preparation for a good result. Peel-and-stick wallpaper has a weaker adhesive than traditional wallpaper and works best on smooth, non-textured surfaces like painted or primed drywall. Because wood paneling is often textured with grooves, any flaws in the underlying surface will likely be visible after application. To prepare the paneling, you must ensure the surface is free of cracks, holes, and protrusions by filling any indentations and sanding rough spots to create a smooth surface. An alternative is to remove the paneling and apply the wallpaper directly to the underlying drywall or plaster, provided it is in good condition.

Painting over wallpaper is an efficient way to cover it if it’s in decent shape. Before painting over wallpaper, make sure the surface is clean and smooth. You may have to remove minor problem areas, such as lifted seams or small peels, with a sheetrock knife or putty knife. Add a latex- or oil-based primer to keep moisture at bay before painting. You’ll likely need two coats of paint to cover the area.

You may end up with extra wallpaper once your project is finished. Hang on to that wallpaper, as you may need to use it to patch up areas that get damaged later on. If you have a lot of excess wallpaper, try getting creative with it. You can use it to line the inside of a cabinet or drawers, for example.

Ideally, you want to ask the wallpaper installers you’re considering for examples of past work, and references you can call. These will prove that the installer can handle your job, make your room look professional, and will also give you some insight into the kind of customer service you can expect. Before you start calling companies, you might want to narrow down your options by finding installers with mostly positive reviews online.

Many types of wallpaper exist, from removable peel-and-stick options to more permanent options that involve pasting. You can also find wallpaper that you can paint over, wallpaper with a texture, and wallpaper made from various materials, such as vinyl. Some types of wallpaper are washable, which can be a great option for kitchens or if your household has small children.
