"The electrician was very knowledgeable and friendly. He did an electrical panel upgrade in our house that required a second panel. He also upgraded electrical outlets and plugs for us that were older and needed to be replaced. We had a new plug installed for our electric dryer. We have already been in touch with them to install a new generator we just got and update the rest of the outlets in our home. He kept the work area clean and cleaned up after he was finished. Great work! We are very satisfied."

"Did a great job on fixing my outside electrical issue of the circuit that kept tripping. Fixed so both outside outlets did not trip at same time. Unable to hardwire my security doorbell/camera where I wanted due to house being over 100 yrs old. He did however did offer some alternatives but not what I wanted. Overall really satisfied with the job he did & explaining what needed to be done"

"This was such an easy experience for us. Everlight Solar did all the planning, completed all required forms, obtained permits, everything! When all approvals were in, they came and installed the electric and then the panels. It was turned on within a couple days. Doorbell Installation questions, answered by experts

Adding insulation to ceilings is an excellent way to increase the energy efficiency of your home. If your home's layout is such that you need insulation in the ceilings rather than in the roof, it's likely that at least some insulation already exists in the space. However, each additional inch of insulation you can add boosts the R-value by between 2.2 and 4.2.

Unfaced wall insulation is easier to cut and install, making it the better choice for a DIY project. It’s also more affordable. But if it’s unfaced, you’ll likely need to add a vapor barrier to reach your desired R-value and efficiency, as it doesn’t offer any moisture barrier.

Faced insulation uses paper or foil to create a built-in barrier and doesn’t require an extra step. It’s also more fire-resistant and safe. But it’s quite a bit more expensive and a little bit harder to work with as a DIYer.

Yes. Bathroom insulation requires a vapor barrier. As a matter of fact, bathrooms and kitchens are the two areas of the home that should always get a vapor barrier because of the excess moisture. If you don’t have a vapor barrier in place in these rooms, the moisture will build up and eventually lead to mold and bacteria, not to mention the destruction of the insulation.

Structural insulated panels and rigid foam boards have the highest R-value of any insulation that contractors commonly use, with R-values reaching up to around 8.0. These types of insulation are best in extremely cold climates, but they’re generally preferred for new construction, as they can be challenging to retrofit. Blown-in and loose fill insulation provide the next best insulative value, provided the installation is done properly. It’s important to choose an insulation type that meets your needs based on climate, as maximizing R-value may not always be financially worthwhile if you live in a moderate climate.

Mineral wool wraps are the most affordable and effective insulation for crawl space ducts. They are easy to cut, last for a long time, and healthier for humans. Meanwhile, fiberglass wraps are cheaper but more hazardous and difficult to handle. If you do choose to use a fiberglass wrap, make sure you are wearing long sleeves and wear proper protective gear.
