"Chris did a great job removing black and green mold from the concrete around my porch. He also did a great job cleaning the siding around my porch and patio. And I was amazed with how he cleaned the white trim on my enclosed patio; I thought I was going to have to have it repainted but it looks almost new after the cleaning. I would have given a 5 star rating except that Chris missed the initial estimating appointment and left a small lake of water on my enclosed patio. In the future, maybe Chris should have a ShopVac with him to clean up excess water. I would highly recommend Chris and hire him again."

Hello,\nMy name is Youa. I live in West bend WI. I'm happily married, have two beautiful daughter, and two fur babies.\n\nFor the longest I've always wanted to start my own cleaning business, but never moved forward with it. I would like the opportunity to start out small cleaning residential houses. I don't have any experience cleaning houses, but if given a chance I won't disappoint.\n\nAnyone who knows me, will say I'm a clean freak. Some would say I'm overly OCD. But I would tell people "cleaning is my cardio." 😊 \n\nI used to work as a CNA caring for patients. It was rewarding, but felt like something was still missing. While looking for a different career change in Healthcare, I stumbled across Sterile processing tech, wondering what this position entails. Come to find out it involves cleaning instruments for surgeries. Seven years later I'm still doing what I love. This position may not be direct caring for patients, but knowing I'm helping patients stay safe in other ways.

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You could void your roof warranty using a power washer if you have a newer roof. With an older roof, you could knock loose older shingles. On the other hand, some people safely use a pressure washer to remove moss from a metal roof. Although you may want to use a pressure washer, the truth is that you probably don’t need it to knock moss loose. A garden hose and brush will do the job just fine and in a safer manner than a pressure washer.

Chemical herbicides will kill moss permanently. The same goes with bleach water. However, moss can start growing again once a new layer of dirt and debris is caught in your sand in paver joints. Therefore, the problem is not about killing moss permanently, but ensuring effective prevention of moss regrowth.

To maintain metal roof health, schedule regular inspections, clear debris from gutters, and check for signs of corrosion.

There are several ways to remove snow from your roof: using a snow rake, salting the roof with calcium chloride, using a rope (cautiously), and using heating cables. It’s important to mention that pretty, fluffy, sparkling snow weighs a great deal, and when physically removing snow from a roof, you should be aware of large snow slabs breaking off. These can weigh hundreds of pounds and are a real danger, so be extremely careful anytime you’re doing this type of work.

While DIY cleaning is feasible, it's risky without proper equipment or experience. Hiring professionals ensures safety and effectively avoids damage.
