"So I had Daniel S, do my TV mount in my room. I did have his contact information if I ever needed future projects. but I lost it!!!! And bummed out 😞 I also had a question for him, about the project that he did. But he did amazing work, fast easy. And he went and got a missing part that I needed, I'm glad he didn't walk away from doing it, he was so NICE! I would like to thank him again. God bless you"

"Hired KO to re-plaster my dining room, living room, and front entry way walls and ceiling. Plasterers James and Luke and their team were awesome. They handled the job in 5 days and now the front half of my house looks amazing. When I was getting this quoted by other companies, I thought I was never going to be able to afford the work. But KO came in at an affordable price and did an awesome job! Definitely recommend to any one looking plaster repair work."

"Patrick and his crew were efficient, friendly, professional and hard workers. They were on time, to the minute, the flooring looks wonderful and I would recommend the company to everyone needing flooring-It was all done within a week! I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Actually I would give them 10 stars-and believe me, I have had a lot of companies do work for me-none were better than PK flooring."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

The VESA mounting standard refers to the layout of the mounting holes on the back of all televisions that follow the standard. These holes appear in the same place on all TVs of a certain size. This allows the mounting bracket and hardware manufacturers to build the brackets to fit the VESA standard. Ideally, if everyone follows the VESA standard, any brand of TV should fit any brand of mounting bracket, as long as the sizes match up correctly.

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV.

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.

If you don’t have studs in the area where you want to install your TV mount, you may still be able to install a TV mount on drywall. The easiest way to install a mount on drywall is by using drywall anchors—but not just any plastic anchors. Choose molly bolts or toggle anchors, which have a weight capacity of around 50 pounds. For added support, consider pairing drywall anchors with a wall mounting plate. Extra heavy TVs may need to be mounted via the ceiling joists or beams.

Yes, many services include wall mounting for TVs or projectors. Confirm with your installer.

Yes, you can mount a TV on a brick wall as a DIY project. This process requires specific tools, such as a masonry drill and masonry bits, as a regular power drill is not sufficient for drilling into dense surfaces like brick. You will need to drill mounting holes directly into the bricks, not the mortar, to ensure there is enough support for the weight of the TV and its bracket. After drilling, use large plastic wall anchors or concrete screws to securely attach the TV mount.
