"Great! Needed 2 footing/pads created in an existing concrete floor for a car lift. Brian was great to work with. Showed up when he said he would, gave a reasonable bid/estimate, and started quickly. Concrete cut, removed, dug out to pour 6” instead of 4”, rebar drilled into existing pad, steel reinforced, mixed new concrete onsite (the pads were small, 2 @ 4’x5’), and finished off the surface perfectly. Brian hauled off all the debris and cleaned up the site when he left. Couldn’t have asked for better work."

"I noticed a small leak in the master bathroom and figured it probably just needed a new wax ring so I replaced it.  Apparently I shouldn't be doing that kind of thing on my own!  A few days later we noticed some swelling in the floor and reached the conclusion that I'd botched the replacement.  I replaced the ring again and the swelling went down but the floor was still spongy where it had swollen.  My fiancee has used Jake in the past and says he's always done a great job for a fair price so we called him to diagnose the problem.  He told us there was some damage but that it would probably hold up for a while.  We decided to have him fix it so there was no risk of us falling through the floor!  He did the work while we were both at work and aside from the new flooring and caulk you would never know he was there.  He did tell us that there was some evidence of mold which he killed with bleach and primed.  He also informed us that our attack cat has an affinity for having his back scratched!
While I didn't live here when the work was done, we have the fruits of his labor in our back yard.  He's repaired the fence, built a trellis, and finished a large cedar pergola, as well as some light landscaping.  He has been referred to as a handyman "swiss army knife" in our house!
