"Pretty good, but I have noticed a lot of soft spots in the flooring and felt that those spots should have been fixed before the flooring was installed. I don’t know what is going to happen over the next few months or years, are these spots going to break thru?"

"Excellent work. Jon B is super friendly, easy to work with, and "gets" what it is we need and want. We are thrilled with his execution of the stairs which look very artistic and fit in with the setting. We would rehire him instantly. We actually had him do a deck and front door canopy in 2016 which everyone continues to admire. A fabulous contractor !!!!"

"They showed up immediately to few the site and when the agreement on construction was signed they came out the next day and worked every day until completion. I was extremely happy with the finished project and the workers were polite, and willing to do any alterations. I would be happy to use their services again."

"I didn't feel they ever took the time to understanding exactly what we wanted to have done. They seemed to be looking for a big project not just a kitchen remodel. The estimate for our kitchen was 3x our budget.

"* I bought a Big Deal for $759 and had to pay the salestax directly to the crew lead, which was unexpected.
* I had planned enough work for 2 workers which is what the contract stated.  Three people showed up, so at the end of the day we had them all doing yardwork, rather expensive at $47+/ hour considering you can hire yardwork for $15/ hr. My online materials order will all have arrived by the time they return in a week for the 2nd Big Deal, which I purchased for $749, ten dollars less than the first one.
* All three workers were roofers with rudimentary skills in interior finish work but they were friendly, cooperative, polite and willing. One of the workers had noticeable body odor, including his clothes. They may have been dispatched to my job because the owner was trying to keep them busy in during a work slowdown. I had to spend more time than I should have had to, discussing how to do things. There were many things in common use today (methods and materials) with which they weren't familiar, so I couldn't "talk shop" with them. They brought no supplies and very few tools, not even a few screws and a putty knife. They should have had the training and tools for the job they were doing.  I think for some of them it was the first time they had done the work items.
* One of the workers punctured my brand new kitchen vinyl. It was laid out on a plush carpet, so It could warm up and lay flat. He should have rolled it up before working in that area. His stepstool had a  leg without a rubber cap. He put the stool on the vinyl and climbed on it to install an overhead light fixture. He was very apologetic and I kept calm.
* I asked the crew lead if he would be willing to pay for new vinyl and pick it up. He said yes. We needed a toilet wax ring so I needed to go to Lowe's. I told the crew lead I'd pick up another piece of the kitchen vinyl as long as I was going to be there anyway. He called the owner who agreed to pay for the vinyl. To make up for the disappointment of having my vinyl ruined and having to get more, I asked the owner if he could pick up a large deck beam which I need for next week's job and he reluctantly agreed. It's about 15 minutes from my home
* At 2pm, the lead announced that they were finished for the day. After a few minutes of figuring, we realized that they should actually work until 3:30.
*I had a list of questions which I was going to get their input, but I realized they probably wouldn't know. I will call the owner this week to se if it's feasible for them to do the rest of my job next week, or if I should just cancel it and get a refund."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Fire and electronics typically don't mix, but that doesn't mean you can't mount your TV on a brick fireplace. However, you should proceed with caution. If you do not use your fireplace regularly, you can be assured that your TV will remain undamaged. However, if you do take advantage of it, be aware that hot air, containing soot, will travel upwards. Even with the flue fully open, the temperature above the fireplace can still get very high.

The shorter the coaxial cable, the better. The further you run the cable, the more signal loss you'll experience. At 50 feet, you'll see significant signal loss, and by 100 feet, you'll experience at least a 30% drop in signal strength.

Hiring a pro ensures safe, secure installation, preventing damage to walls and TVs.

If you want to enjoy your favorite movies from the comfort of your backyard or patio, you can mount a TV outside. You’ll want to be thoughtful about its location, ensuring it’s away from water and heat, like a grill or pool. Placing it under a roof, awning, or gazebo is usually a good idea as well for extra protection. Outdoor wiring does add an extra layer of complications with this project, so it may be worth it to hire an electrician to help.

The cost to have a TV professionally mounted typically ranges from $160 to $360, with a national average of about $260. This price is for labor and does not include the TV mount itself. Several factors can affect the final cost, including the size of the TV and the type of mount used; for example, a fireplace mount costs more than an under-cabinet one. If you want to hide the wires within the wall, the price can increase significantly, potentially to $1,000 or more. For an accurate estimate, it is best to contact a local TV mounting service.
