"They did a great job and were very quick and efficient. They even negotiated a lower price because we didn't need our gutters cleaned, since they were going to be replaced the next week. I will definitely use their service again when I need the exterior of my house washed or windows or roof or driveway cleaned."

"We had an outstanding experience with Fresh Exteriors Cleaning. From the first contact, they were quick to respond and communicated clearly every step of the way. Scheduling was easy, and they were very accommodating to our needs. They completed a metal roof power wash, gutter cleaning, interior and exterior window cleaning, and sidewalk power washing — and everything was done thoroughly and professionally. The attention to detail really stood out. Our roof looks refreshed, the gutters are clean and flowing properly, the windows are sparkling inside and out, and the sidewalks look brand new. The team was professional, respectful of our property, and clearly takes pride in their work. I would absolutely recommend Fresh Exteriors Cleaning to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality exterior cleaning services."

"Called the night before to ask if it would be ok to come in the afternoon instead. Two professional cleaners came out and did a great job cleaning the roof, removing the moss & laying down powder and spray to remove and prevent moss. Cleaned the gutters, windows & screens. They were friendly, quick, answered questions about their work and cleaned the area around the house. Was happy with the work and would recommend them."

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The most likely cause of smearing or streaking after cleaning your windows is residue left on the glass from the cleaner you’re using. Consider diluting the solution and cleaning them again, or use old newspaper to dry the windows after cleaning, as this will soak up any residual material. Additionally, aim to clean your windows on a cool, cloudy day, as cleaners will dry more quickly on the glass if it’s hot and sunny, promoting streaking.

The best thing to clean windows with is a mixture of white vinegar, warm water, and dish soap. This will remove dirt, pollen, and grime without destroying any tints or protective films on your glass. You can also use a commercial window cleaner, but make sure to choose one that doesn’t have ammonia in it, as this can damage window coverings and frame materials over time.

Hot water removes grime more efficiently than cold water and evaporates more quickly so that your windows will dry faster. However, you may want to use cold water instead if your windowsill paint is chipping or peeling because heat can worsen this condition.

Clutter and disorganization can make even a clean house seem dirty. Decluttering unused items will make your home seem cleaner, and putting storage solutions into place will give a house a more organized look and feel. Other things that can make a house feel dirty include stained or faded carpets and upholstery, dirty or dingy walls, chipped paint, and disorganized shelves.

One of the best professional cleaning solutions that won’t leave streaks is one gallon of distilled or bottled water mixed with 2 to 4 teaspoons of dish soap. Apply using a sponge in a figure-eight motion, and then use a squeegee to remove the majority of the water and soap. You can finish drying with a piece of old black-and-white newspaper to remove any residue for a streak-free clean every time.
