"We chose Seth because of the three window treatment companies that Home Advisor recommend for our area, Apex had the highest ratings, longest experience. Seth himself came to our home to do the consultation, measurements and installation. We have three levels to our home and ended up getting the sliding shutters for the patio door, wooden blinds for the bedrooms, vinyl blinds for the bathroom, blackout blinds for the 3rd floor media room (which helps to keep the sun out and the room cooler) and privacy blinds for the front of the house that opens from the top or bottom and allows ambient light to pass through even while completely closed. There are lots of options and Seth patiently walked us through the process. He's hard working and very easy to work with and helped us get the right window treatments for our budget and style. "This is pretty much as good as it gets without having the designer come to your house.  We received detailed recommendations for lighting, accessories, fabric types, window treatments, lots of good details in the recommendations.  The actual remodel changed the room, but most of the recommendations still apply.  I'm not sure about the prices of the items they recommend, but it does give you practical ideas for furniture you may already have or how to shop in a retail store, etc.

"Not the best experience.  I felt rushed on the phone getting my bid and then it seemed like some prices were more when he came out.  My little plastic valence holders kept breaking (normal that they would break when moved; old, sun-dried, etc) and Monte kept saying he'd give me some velcro to reattach the valences.  He never did give me any velcro and didn't even put back 2 of the valence boards at all, just left them in the corner of the rooms.  Kind of left a drippy mess, didn't clean window sills off very well.  All in all; the job was done, the blinds are clean, but probably would not use them again."

"Arrived late, made a big mess, didn t do one of the things that was important for me about the job (haul away), misdiagnosed my garage door problem (spent five minutes on it) and left large chunks of visible caulking on my highest windows that I must remove now. He also measured the hole for the microwave bolt several times and cut it several times because his measuring was off."
