"I can’t stress enough what a horrible experience this was. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Their “roof job” caused a leak into my house which I had to fix to the tune of $10,000. And no way would I have them fix it as they did things wrong in the first place and didn’t even do the roof to code. I have pictures and other professionals in the industry to document the disastrous job they did. Please do not trust or use this company if you want a decent roof. I used RoofSmart to fix their issues and they did a phenomenal job just fyi."

They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

If you’ve already installed your carpet and your baseboards need a fresh coat, painter’s tape can help ensure the paint stays on the wall and off the flooring. Be sure to add a margin of 2 to 3 inches of tape along the carpet to give yourself extra space for any unexpected spills or drips. In most cases, paint primer is necessary before painting over wood paneling. A hardy primer formula covers up stains and leaves a grippy surface for the new paint to hold onto. If you don’t use a primer first, you risk poor adhesion, visible blemishes, and a paint top coat that could flake away later. 

There are two primer choices: oil-based or latex-based. Choose an oil-based primer for durability and adhesion, but prepare for extra dry time and more VOC (volatile organic compounds) fumes. Or, pick a stain-blocking latex primer. They’re easy to apply, clean up, and affordable.

The answer to whether you need to clean the walls before painting depends largely on the condition of the existing finish and your desired results. You can often get away with painting bedroom and living room walls with just a dusting and some high-quality paint. However, the best results come from doing all of the prep steps first, including a gentle cleaning.

The main difference between limewash and paint is their chemical makeup and ingredients. Limewash is made from lime and water, which is more breathable than the ingredients in paint, which is made from a combination of plastic, acrylic, or latex. Because of these ingredients, limewash is more transparent than paint; it also only appears as white, while paint can be mixed into an endless number of different colors and shades.

Paint adheres more easily to fiberglass than other materials, and so do brush marks. Using a brush can result in an uneven texture and patchy appearance, especially when using a quick-drying paint like latex or acrylic. Instead, use a foam roller to ensure the paint is evenly and consistently applied.
