We have vinyl siding, so the job included front porch columns, outside doors, trim and soffits. They gave a lower price, but we requested 2 coats, so they upped the charge a little bit. They actually landed slightly above the first of the 3 estimates we got. Sounded fair, and we got good work.

I noticed he didn't paint the underside of my crawl space vents and asked him to. He did it, then told me that they weren't painted originally. I thought that was pretty classy that he did the work before mentioning it. He did something that wasn't in our contract and didn't charge extra. He also suggested that the kickplate under our patio door be done in grey instead of white, since we have 3 young kids. He'd already painted it white and said I could discuss it with my wife and he'd redo it the next day if we like, which he did.

The only reason I didn't give them an excellent score for quality is because there is one drip on my front door, and the guy couldn't get my front door handle installed properly. It's kind of weird, and took me about 40 minutes before I had it figured out.

When I'm ready for more painting, I will call these guys.

They do a professional job. They are on time and on budget, and they do everything right.

Sky Northwest did a fantastic job for us. Their estimate was substantially lower than their competitors, and their work was first-rate. The work was projected to take 3 days. There was much patching to be done (from my poor DIY drywall work) and some fairly tricky taping and mudding (again, to cover my poor DIY). Late on the 1st day, our furnace died. This caused the mud to not set properly, as the house was too cold. When they tried to paint on the 3rd day (a Friday), the paint quickly peeled because there was too much moisture in the mud. The owner called and said they'd be back out the next week to correct and complete the work. It took them 2 more days to correct the work, but they did not increase the cost (even though the cause was not their fault). The work looks great, and we will be happy to hire them again in the future!!

In 2006, I hired Sky Northwest to paint extensive exterior trim. Another estimate came in 3 times higher. In 2006, the service was excellent. However in April of 2009, some of the trim was peeling and I contacted the company. No questions asked, SKY Northwest came to my house and scraped all the trim back to the bare wood and repainted. No material costs, no labor costs. This is evidence that this company stands behind their work. I was delighted that the owner responded to my email, I was very surprised when he came out within 3 days of the email and within a week the entire job was re-done.

THEY DID A REALLY NICE JOB ON OUR HOME. THERE WERE USUALLY TWO PEOPLE ON THE JOB. THEY WERE FRIENDLY, PROMPT, AND VERY METICULOUS! JERRY, THE OWNER, WAS VERY GOOD ABOUT RETURNING PHONE CALLS.
