we are a local company that has a great reputation, and saves you thousands of dollars of replacement cost. we refinish bathtubs, fiberglass showers, fiberglass crack repairs and porcelain chips in tubs, stoves, tiles. we also do color changes. and countertops. we have served Whatcom,Skagit,Snohomish and Island county's for for eight years. and truly pride our self's in the feed back from our customers. to refinish a standard bathtub cost, anywhere between $475 and $575. fiberglass showers $775 to $875. special order colors are extra. fiberglass cracks in showers cost anywhere from $475 to $675, and counter tops are by the job, but a great savings comparably to replacement. we have a strong sense of pride in our work, and a sense urgency to be able to accommodate our customers. most all work can be completed in a day and you can use your items 24 hours after we leave.

"BEWARE! Lenny and his son do not stand by their work, we hired A1 to refinish our tub and shortly after the finish started to peel off, after ignoring my phone calls and text messages for weeks Lenny finally agreed to fix the issues but to no avail that led to months of him making appointments and not showing up, making excuses, not answering the phone and then finally and weirdly he just randomly told me that his work that is peeling off is not covered under his warranty (if this isn't then nothing must be covered) and that I would need to pay him to fix his own defective work or to F**k off, yes he literally told me to F**K off. This is not a good or professional business person and unfortunately he has left me with no other route but to write this honest review of my experience as to warn others and to file a claim with his insurance company. I wish I would have looked at his Yelp reviews before hiring him as it looks like others have experienced the same thing."

Bathtub Restoration questions, answered by experts

Fiberglass tubs last between 10 and 15 years or more if they’re well-maintained. Proper care will help them last as long as possible. However, fiberglass bathtubs are prone to cracking, fading, and scratches over time. Bathtub installation by a plumber is one of the best ways to ensure your tub has the right support to last its full lifespan.

It is best to wear a respirator during the sanding, painting, and sealing process. It can filter particles, vapors, and fumes that can be toxic to breathe. So it’s better to be safe and protect your lungs during this project.

You can use other ways to seal the space where your tub and the bathroom tile meet. Using sealant tape, epoxy sealer, and spray foam can be just as effective as caulking your bathtub. When using alternatives to caulk, the one that is best for you depends on your preferences.

Sealant tape takes less time and effort to use, which is why some homeowners prefer it. Meanwhile, epoxy sealer creates a smooth and glossy finish that can complement your bathroom. Lastly, spray foam is waterproof and can act as insulation for your tub.

Before you begin caulking a shower, you’ll need to use a utility knife or solvent to remove the old caulk and inspect the area for mold. If needed, take appropriate steps to get rid of the mold, then wipe everything down with dish soap and warm water before letting it dry completely. Finally, surround the caulking area with two strips of blue painter’s tape—one above the joint where you’re caulking and another below it.

Yes, you can use a dremel tool to cut plexiglass. Follow the instructions under “How to Cut Plexiglass with a Saw,” and use a dremel tool with a 561 bit instead of a saw.
