A1 Reglazing

BEWARE! Lenny and his son do not stand by their work, we hired A1 to refinish our tub and shortly after the finish started to peel off, after ignoring my phone calls and text messages for weeks Lenny finally agreed to fix the issues but to no avail that led to months of him making appointments and not showing up, making excuses, not answering the phone and then finally and weirdly he just randomly told me that his work that is peeling off is not covered under his warranty (if this isn't then nothing must be covered) and that I would need to pay him to fix his own defective work or to F**k off, yes he literally told me to F**K off. This is not a good or professional business person and unfortunately he has left me with no other route but to write this honest review of my experience as to warn others and to file a claim with his insurance company. I wish I would have looked at his Yelp reviews before hiring him as it looks like others have experienced the same thing.

Recommended just getting chips repaired and not refinish whole tub. Looks good and I saved several hundred dollars

I'm impressed! Anyone thinking of replacing their existing tub should call Lenny first. They did a fantastic job.

We moved into a 16 year old condo about 8 months ago, knowing that it had an old non-functioning whirlpool tub that had been neglected for a long time and was basically unusable and a real eyesore. We figured we would just have to replace it with a soaker tub which is what we really wanted anyway. Once we found out what it would cost to replace the tub, not to mention the work involved in removing the old tub, redoing plumbing, tile, flooring, etc., we knew we had to find another answer. I thought, why couldn't the jets just be removed and the holes be repaired and refinished, transforming the whirlpool tub into a soaking tub? A1 reglazing to the rescue! After talking to Lenny about our problem he said 'we can do that'. I'm really sorry I can't recall the gentleman's name that actually did the work, but he was fantastic! He came out in the morning and was finished by late afternoon, and with very little mess. The tub looks like brand new and all I had to do was replace a rusted drain fitting. Anyone not knowing that 7 jet holes had been plugged and refinished would never be able to tell that anything had been done to the tub. A1 Reglazing saved us a ton of money and work and did a top notch job. They were easy to work with and very professional. We would recommend them to anyone needing fiberglass repair work or re-glazing. Another good, local, Bellingham company.
