They have so many years of experience in this area it shows in their work and end product! The communication was great from top to bottom. I had LOTS of questions and they were all answered in great detail. The employees are clearly engaged and honest. The salesman/estimator, Seth, was fantastic and then the project manager, Ian, was just a pleasure to work with. Very detail oriented and always goes the extra mile. The painters were efficient, friendly and did a fantastic job. They kept a very clean job site. I can't find an area of the house I'm not pleased with. They paint the house by hand and have an amazing 7 year warranty! Somehow the work seemed easy and the customers are all so friendly and are always so pleased that I just continued. The business was named for theme from the book “The Go Getter” by Peter B. Kyne. The Blue Vase name has helped me keep my tongue on one occation with an upset client, who had lost her 20+ year position with a major airline because she didn’t want to uproot her family to transfer, which caused me to be invited to stay for dinner. The story speaks for itself. We always strive to please our customers, not merely satisfy but please, by going the extra mile, giving a little bit more.

Will pressure-treated wood rot? This wood could eventually suffer from rot, although it takes longer compared to untreated wood. Even though the chemicals applied to pressure-treated wood protect it, they eventually dissipate and leave the wood vulnerable. Cold temperatures can make your deck boards contract. If they don’t contract evenly, they can put pressure on the deck screws and cause them to pop out, making a noticeable sound. Winterizing your deck can help prevent this from happening.

Rotten deck boards can sometimes be repaired, but only if the damage is minor. Repairing small patches of rot involves strengthening the damaged area with wood hardener, filler, or epoxy. More substantial damage requires replacing the boards or rebuilding the entire structure in extreme cases. If the rot extends to the joists, posts, or beams, have a contractor evaluate the damage to ensure it is still structurally sound.

Yes, you can absolutely replace just one damaged spindle as long as you can find a matching replacement. However, if multiple spindles are damaged or you can't find an exact match, you might consider replacing an entire section for a more uniform look and structural integrity.
