Now they’re saying that leveling the kitchen wasn’t included in the original scope, blaming the remaining dip on my kitchen island and fridge being “too heavy” and lacking proper support—an issue they failed to identify in the initial assessment. To properly address this problem, they’re now asking for an additional $7,500, claiming this work was never part of the original job. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic, and I can’t help but feel taken advantage of. To make matters worse, I discovered that they used an uncalibrated machine during the initial leveling when installing, which raised my house over an inch more than necessary, causing significant damage that wasn’t there before. The whole house, including new skylights, was done in two days as promised. From quote to getting the job done was ten days. The crew was also neat and tidy, cleaning up all debris. Most or all of the plywood was replaced along with my choice of the color of roofing shingles. They also used a drone to show the damage the weather had done to the old plywood and used the drone for all parts of the work! This was great as this was our beach house and we were unable to be on the job site."
