"Great service. Was able to reschedule and come on Saturday. Nice, professional employee. Finished quickly and was thorough. Only tjing I would recommend is for he to put on shoe botties when entering house as it was raining and he was in and out a lot. Left some black dust from cleaning stove. Our chimney and stove were in huge need of cleaning!"

Chimney Sweep questions, answered by experts

Yes, professionals use specialized treatments to remove smoke odors and improve indoor air quality.

Common issues discovered during a chimney inspection or cleaning include creosote buildup, cracked liners, structural degeneration or masonry degradation, and obstructions such as blocked flues or animal nests. These issues are potential safety hazards that can lead to combustion problems or poor air quality if not addressed.

If untreated, smoke damage is definitely toxic. Carbon and tar are two types of toxic chemicals in smoke that can damage your lungs and other parts of your body if you breathe them in for long periods of time. If you still smell smoke after the fire, it’s important that you call your restoration team for support.

Yes, many providers offer 24/7 emergency repair services to prevent inventory loss.

The first step in fire damage restoration is having a pro come in right away to help control moisture (if authorities used water to extinguish a fire at your home). Skipping moisture removal puts your home at risk for invasive mold and rot that can cause added property damage and health issues. Once you have the bulk of the water out, you’ll need to run blower fans for 24 to 72 hours to remove moisture.
