The work was done excellently! Paul and his workers came on time, were very efficient and very, very clean. For the type of work---old cracked liner removed, chimney cleaned and relined there was not a spot of dirt anywhere when they left. They were very nice to work with and I would call them again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Chimney Savers. They truly saved our chimney! Smith repeatedly promised that he would landscape our yard after it had been torn up and left a mess by him and the excavator. Smith even made a big deal about giving his "word" that everything would be taken care of. But then toward the end of the project, when it was late May and still no landscaping of any kind had been done, Smith suddenly said he wasn't going to do the work after all! In response, we withheld final payment until the landscaping was done. So what did Smith do? Instead of doing the work, he goes to court and slaps a contractors or mechanics lien on our house, not for the amount of money left on the contract but for nearly twice as much! After consulting with an attorney, we discovered that fighting Smith in court would end up costing us much more in legal fees, so our lawyer recommended that we just payoff Smith to get him out our life. But that was just the tip of the iceberg with this guy. Smith also "installed" four doors that we couldn't even close, then refused to fix them; put a huge dent in the side of our refrigerator but didn't tell us about it; put a new roof on our bathroom but then didn't repair or replace some of the trim that was rotted out, and finally made a hole in our pantry wall and just left it. As bad as our experience was, the worst thing Smith did was endanger the health of my wife, who suffers from asthma, and was pregnant with our daughter at the time the project was being done, by callously failing to take all necessary steps to reduce the indoor air pollution caused by the construction. Even after my wife had a severe asthma attack and we told Smith we were worried about the health of our unborn daughter he refused to change his behavior, saying it met ?industry standards.? Out of frustration we obtained a HEPA air filter ourselves to mitigate the dust and dirt Smith and his crew left behind on a daily basis. Bottom line: don't hire this guy to do anything. He is dishonest, deceitful and duplicitous, a nightmare waiting to happen. All was friendly til I showed gift card. Go out into rain for registration so we can log you in to our system. Told them reg was on passenger seat and could they log me when they bring in the car. No, we can't. Went out into rain. Please sit and wait til we call you in 30 min. 1.5 hours later Svc guy comes out to say since car was up on lift etc. found that belts were ready to give out, interior and engine air filters needed replacement & plug wires need replacement. How much we ask? $200! Wow, we say. Will get back to you. OK! Car will be right out...another 30 min. Two hours for an oil change with an appointment! Get home and look at belt..only one belt (ala Ford serpentine). Flashlight shows a very good looking belt. Allen screws for the engine cover (need to take off to see air filter) were filled with dirt and no evidence of disturbance. Short story: never took off the cover to see air filter. Best part: 04 Altima has no plug wires to relace. Be very careful with these guys!"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/nh/tilton/autoserv-of-plymouth-reviews-2079427.htm"},"position":3}]}

FAQs for dirt hauling projects in Randolph, VT
The kinds of items or materials accepted will vary by hauling company. Some companies will not handle hazardous waste, but hiring ones that do will cost from $5 to $100 or more, depending on what type and quantity of material.
Most companies will haul items such as:
Construction and remodeling waste: $100–$600
Appliances: $50–$600
Furniture: $50–$400
Electronics: $60–$200
Yard waste: $70–$500
Unfortunately, some plumbing scenarios, like a broken sewer pipe repair, will require excavation to complete the job. Plumbing excavation costs range from $30 to $70per cubic foot. However, if you need additional trenching, expect to pay an extra $4 to $12per linear foot. Keep in mind that these costs are on top of the plumbing repair costs, and they don’t account for labor costs. Consult your excavation specialist to determine an accurate estimate for your job.
The cost to hire a professional junk hauling service ranges from $60 to $600, averaging about $270. Your final price is determined by the type of junk, amount of junk, the distance to the dumpsite, and the equipment required to move and haul your items or materials. Keep in mind that construction junk removal is more expensive than hauling household items, so expect to pay $800 for removing large piles of debris.
The average cost for pool excavation is $2,500. This cost can range from $450 to $4,500, depending on the pool shape and size, time of year, and any need to move buried utilities.
When excavating for your pool, you might have to move existing utilities. You can expect to pay an additional $15 to $25per linear foot to move gas lines. To move a septic system, it’ll cost an additional $2,000 to $20,000. A pool that is 10 feet by 12 feet averages $450 to excavate, and a 20-foot-by-40-foot pool averages $3,020.
The cost for residential excavation is $3,200 on average, ranging between $50 and $200per cubic yard. Total costs could range from $500 to $15,000, depending on the project type, yard size, and soil type.
When a project needs an excavator, the contractor will subcontract one as part of the larger project. If you hire an excavation specialist, you can expect to pay between $40 and $180per hour. When excavating, if you have soil with excessive rocks or clay deposits, expect an additional cost of $200 to $1,200.
