Offering rototilling, driveway grading, post hole digging, brush hogging, and excavation services for small jobs. One day or one hour, jobs too small to warrant the cost of heavy equipment. Preferring to stick to the following towns - Calais, Woodbury, Plainfield, Marshfield, Worcester, Cabot, East Montpelier, Middlesex, but might stretch in slow times. $75 transport & $35/hr ($150 minimum, covers 2 hrs on-site). 456-1403 Usually can get it done on short notice.

While I am a sole proprietor, my numerous contacts in the area allow me to subcontract and be subcontracted for any of the services I provide. The size of the job is no problem. The estimates are free and I am certified in Lead Paint removal. Financing is subject to negotiation

Rototilling questions, answered by experts

DIY landscaping is possible, but professional services offer expertise in selecting appropriate plants and designing functional spaces that complement the natural environment and adhere to local regulations.

Periodic checks for erosion and proper drainage function ensure lasting results.

Yard grading is a key component of proper drainage because runoff naturally moves with respect to gravity. If you have low spots in your yard, rain and snowmelt will settle there and oversaturate the soil, promoting root rot and fungal growth. If the low spots are near your home’s foundation, you could even end up with foundation leaks or structural damage due to poor yard grading.

Many ways to landscape a steep slope on a budget exist. Avoiding expensive retaining wall construction is the first step. Consider creating a rocky slope with boulders or large stones, or think about planting perennials that return every year with a single investment. Transplanting small trees from elsewhere on your property is also possible and can help to stabilize steep slopes without purchasing new ones.

When leveling the ground for a pool. If the ground is mostly level, you may be able to simply lay down pavers or pool pads to support the pool. However, you’ll still need to level the ground with sand as a base before adding other materials on top, like crushed gravel.
